i knew i wanted to app adult jason (as opposed to his pure bean kid self) and that thalia grace would be his au big sister, my thought process was literally like

"okay a four year old can take care of a baby, right???"

and then it was declared the wrong jason grace would be 18-years-old, which is four years younger than thalia but still technically an adult.

AS FOR KARKAT: how did you decide his nationality!!! i'm puerto rican so i always get excited when i see characters who are also...... puerto rican.......... SWEATS
