Who does Anya admire/respect/look up to the most? Give me her top 3!

HER MAMA IS NUMBER ONE BUT I FEEL LIKE THAT'S LESS INTERESTING so i'm just gonna leave all the spots for cr. but please know that anya doesn't love anyone more than her mama. i'm also going to take out people like chuuya, grell, makoto and miwa (the people that she directly addresses by family names always) bc she's a sucker for family and that's already more than three LMFOASD;F

Yato is the closest second though - which is counter-intuitive because Yato doesn't have a job, he's homeless, he's kind of explosive but. Anya has honestly seen Yato failure more than anyone else. However she's also seen Yato keep trying and maintain his kindness more than anyone else. She respects that. Anya has a lot of things given to her, she knows that. People treat her sweetly and give her the benefit of the doubt but honestly, Yato doesn't always get that. (It's also what has Anya a little bristly whenever someone implies something even vaguely negative about Yato because she wants to make sure he only hears good things.) But despite all the things he goes through, he does everything he can to chase after his own happiness and she wishes that she cared that much about - well, anything.

Jade probably comes after that. Jade has the most in common with Anya's interests, except she's like. Even More Dedicated than Anya is to the stars. So she admires Jade's pursuit of the stars and her willingness to dedicate herself to her interest, which includes taking college classes for it?? That's so impressive. Anya also thinks that Jade is incredibly kind and peppy and outgoing but is never, ever boring. Jade seems like the kind of person who can always make friends with people and has a quiet sort of drive that's able to motivate her through anything and everything that Anya wants to mimic. Like she's sweet to everyone and still able to be sweet to herself and give herself focus.

Yuuko is also there because LMFAO GOD. YUUKO IS. NEVER. BORING. EVER. OH MY GOOOD. She always has something fun and exciting to say, even if it's a little risque or surprising sometimes?! She's so bold... Anya wants to be that bold. (no one needs anya that bold) But also Yuuko is very sweet and caring to the people that she gets close to. Also Yuuko is looking for love and is so open about it and is such a cute romantic and never embarrassed about being true to herself (as far as Anya can tell) sO YEAH, ANYA JUST LOVES YUUKO A LOT. Yuuko gives her advice in the middle of the night and is generally just amazing. shakes head.

honorable mentions also go out to Dave and Yuri for being amazing dancers and still having more direction than Anya but also Ryoji and Jake because they travel and Anya loves to hear stories about different parts of the globe. and Nobu for also having something that she's really good at and - i'm giving up there's so much here i'm just gonna put this into a plurk meme

so... what do i do to get into idolmaster; is the mobile game out in english? is the anime good? where do i go to see the most anya?
i know nothing about idols aside from love live hell

so first I would recommend the anime?! idk what you're preferred watching site is but here is the first season (and there's a second season!) because the anime is a ) gorgeously animated b ) well-written and c ) gives a solid amount of attention to all the girls, including Anya. Because Anya is one of the first girls to get put into a unit and given work SO THE ANIME IS VERY GOOD.

The game isn't out in English but there are translations out! I have a small personal post of all the Anya resources (videos + comics + dance videos) if you're interested in a link to that HAHA.

bookmarks the anime, I guess I'll be watching this tomorrow haha. I remember looking for the game and was just half tempted to dl it and play it without translations like I did with LLSIF-- is the game easy to play/enjoyable w/o understanding what characters are saying?

OH MAN so it was primarily between Anya and Lili and... Sakon, because Sakon's my samurai puppy. but I'm really bad a reviving dead muses and I stopped playing him two years ago so I wasn't sure if I could confidently bring Sakon back so I didn't put him on the meme and wanted to try something a little new and exciting for the game at start

between Lili and Anya though, it was the fact that Anya was obscure... and I thought she'd be easier than Lili..... LMFAOSDF;J I WAS LIKE "ANYA WOULD NEED MORE TIME TO GET CR AND GAIN TRACTION BC SHE'S AN OBSCURE LITTLE IDOL"

Any particular reason why you went for Vasiliev as Anya's last name? Also did you have any alternative AU plans for Anya that you didn't end up going with?
