Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Reserves open on March 17th at 9pm EST! Please note; due to player polls, players may now apply for characters without a reservation. Applications open on March 24th at 12am EST.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 15 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!
As a note, we will update the application page with a space for current players to link their full AC for our review should a player wish to apply without a reserve.

• Most importantly, as a friendly note: Recollé will be going into its endgame this year. As such this is the last application cycle of 2019.

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

AU NAME: Namgar "Nancy" Ologonova
AU AGE: 16, is aged up a couple years bc why not?
AU OCCUPATION: High School Student, girl gang member, skateboarder, practicing martial artist.
BLURB:
➳ Is in her self-appointed 'tough/edge lord-girl' phase mostly because she doesn't feel like she can relate to most of her classmates. Despite this, she does have a small group of (mostly girl) friends she sticks with.
➳ Mother is an American who was a lab assistant (now homemaker) to her Russian (Buryat in ethnicity) husband who is a scientist specializing in manufacturing various drugs for prescription companies. Nancy doesn't see him often.
➳ Her favorite person in the world is her Karate Teacher. (And is the best student in his class, but she wants to meet the older kids he teaches.)
➳ Does alright in school, but really excels in physical things. Until she turned 15 and fell in love with skateboarding and fighting she was in every athletic single team in school. Her Father doesn't like it too much.
➳ Hasn't learned how to drive yet and doesn't care to learn. (Why bother when you can skate/take the train to nearly everyplace?)
➳ Has cut her hair since she was 13 and isn't stopping for anybody.
➳ Doesn't particularly care for boys her age because most of them are intimidated by her.
➳ In response to the bothering she and other girls got by boys at the skate park, she has joined a crew of mostly girl skaters to stick together and beat the crap out of anyone that questions them. (She hasn't gotten into any trouble... yet.)
➳ Is named after a singer who her Father was a fan of. She doesn't really see the appeal. (She's more of a punk/nineties grunge sort of girl.)
➳ Hasn't quite figured out what she wants to do after high school. (And it sort of freaks her parents out.)
➳ Is smol, like only 4'11 but is seriously pretty jacked for a high school girl. (And yes, she eats like a horse.)
LOOKING FOR:
➳ Buddies (lol) at school! On the other hand, not!friends, I ain't afraid of no negative CR.
➳ Fellow skaters in her girl gang. Hell, maybe you don't skate but you hang out at the park, Nancy will know you.
➳ Her master is introducing to people outside her class and even fighting style. Do you kick ass for a living/hobby? Nancy will wanna talk... and spar a bit.
➳ Teachers perhaps willing to try and steer her towards a career or at least some sort of college. (This could either turn out good or bad.)
➳ She just wanna punch some ppl, ok?
➳ ANYONE, beggars cannot be choosers.
