Derek wishes he could get along better with Al, but every time he tries, Al say or does something that just annoys Derek. Derek loves Al and if anyone messes with him, they will face Derek's wrath.

Derek and Elliot?

Because Elliot saved his life, Derek will always feel indebted to him. So pretty much, if Elliot is in trouble, and he asks for Derek's help, Derek will help him. He finds Elliot easy to tease when he sees the opportunity, though they don't come up often. Derek was surprised to learn him and Elliot were sorta related and wants to bond better over that. That being said, time and time again Derek is disappointed when things he assumes Elliot would know (ex. how his magic works or family stuff) he actually doesn't know. This lead Derek to wonder what actually goes on in Elliot's head. He's not in any particular hurry to find out though.

Derek and Xiaolang!!

Derek likes talking to Xiaolang and sees a lot of himself in Xiaolang. Sometimes he wishes Xiaolang was his little brother because he finds him pretty adorable and amusing. Derek finds Xiaolang easy to talk to and actually feels fine opening up to him even though there is a huge age gap between them. Derek also admires Xiaolang's relationship with Sakura and supports it wholeheartedly.

Cumore- Derek sees Alex as his best friend, and so his existence is VERY important to Derek. If anything happens to Alex, Derek will freak out and go on a rescue mission/hide a body/use his magic in unspeakable ways if he has to for the sake of Alex. Feel the love of friendship Alex. With that being said, Derek will get angry with Alex if he puts his life in danger and will call him out on it.

Wesker- Most of the time Derek wishes Wesker could go run into a wall. Derek doesn't understand how Wesker thinks he is self centered and wishes Wesker would just see things the way he does. That being said, in the current thread with the cheering charm, Derek is enjoying the fact Wesker is showing interest. "Ah, he is just a brood guy who wants to be happy!"

Arthur- Derek is still developing an opinion of Arthur. He honestly reminds him of Wesker, just less rude. At the moment he isn't against talking to him if it ever comes up.

Crow and Derek?

Derek is still developing an opinion of Crow, but currently it is leaning towards a positive opinion. One of their first encounters being Crow helping his when he apparated wrong is a big plus in Derek's book. Some of his magic is impressive and their conversations have amused Derek. Derek wouldn't mind getting to know him better.

Derek and Rean!

Derek thinks Rean is an amusing kid and he also really appreciate Rean for helping him with the vomiting slugs incident. Brownie points for Rean! Derek does think Rean needs to loosen up more, though he is probably not going about it the right way. He is interested in how Rean's magic works and does plan on asking him about it one day. Overall, a good impression that leaves Derek open to getting to know him better.

Derek and Sakura!

Derek sort of sees Sakura like a little sister that needs to be protected. He's relieved that she is dating Xiaolang because she has a tendency to get into trouble (not her fault), so in Derek's mind Xiaolang and keep a good eye on her. He thinks she's pretty naive to the more difficult things in the world. Part of him wants to inform of such things, while he also kind of wants to protect the innocence she portrays.

Either way, Derek feels protective of her. Mainly (but not limited to) because she is part of this really cute relationship that Derek admires.

He still doesn't really get her magic, but he also hasn't seen a lot of it.

She is definitely naive and has a habit of getting into trouble sometimes with intending to help and do something and getting over her head, yes. So that tracks, haha.

I feel like maybe her mentioning her seeing the future in canon could help him remember more regarding memory charms or something? Or Divination lessons with Trelawney, lol. Not that I recall if Draco took that class but he prob at least knew of it. But Sakura has more magic than just the cards, the cards are just the most active/obvious part.
