"He's proof that rich people can have it rough, I know he is an asshole too, but he is a rich asshole with a broken heart like mine. So, yeah, I WANT to punch him every now and then, but he's got blackmail on me. Even if the guy won't admit it, I'm sure he is going to hold it over my head. But hopefully, we get better together."

Okay, so Al is having a little TOO much fun with Wesker, even though Wesker was a super villan, Al just thinks of him as a tank...a tank that he would rather have on his side rather then anyone elses. Sides, he also gave him advice in a way he can understand, and that somehow works.

"Look, the dude let me crash on his couch when I went bat shit crazy. So he is good in my books, I am worried that he is going to get himself killed one of these days by being a bit of a dumbass, but hey, the guy is a good egg deep down. Occasionally a suicidal dumbass, but a good egg. Plus I like talking philosophy with him."
Arthur honestly reminds Al of Kriel, who he looked to as a mentor figure that helped him try to understand himself. So Al is now trying to look to Arthur as a bit of a replacement, even if he also worries about the guy at the same time.

But this is. Accurate though, lol. Yes. She is def the type that pretty much always considers others before herself. And well, she does soften Yue and Syaoran in canon, along with Meiling in the anime, so. Why not add him to the list.

OOC, I actually forgot about the A/B/O thread that started it all and I was laughing when I read it. Although Al, does really enjoy Shuji's company, even if like 98% of what they do is essentially bitch in their sarcastic way. Or just random little things that helped Al to be more social to people. Because, holy, he really needs someone that gets his sense of humour. He was REALLY happy when Shuji took his joke about getting his english homework done while Shuji is dying. Since those are the kinds of jokes that tend to get him in trouble.

Okay, so Al's feelings for Derek tend to swing a lot. Derek really opened the gate for Al to open up and be social when Al broke down and caught him. That was a big sign for Al that some people CAN catch you. But at the same time hurt him so much, especially their dinner when Derek reinforced Al's initial instinct that he should have just kept it to himself, double whammy because his last family did similar crap to him and Al is aware he has issues, but he is also aware because of app stuff that he has changed and it's hurting him that the person he wanted to trust so bad, can't see it.

Okay, so Al KNOWS he has massive issues and honestly was almost TRYING to push Rean away during the bio-swap event. Because Al was trying really hard to try to be relatively normal, yeah app screwed with him and made him jumpy as hell with super senses. But on the app, things like that happened frequently, so okay fine, outside of that, Al had enjoyed his company and wanted him as a friend, he didn't want Rean to see him broken at all.
When it came out, Al just got incredibly frustrated at how essentially, he can rob someone blind perfectly with no repercussions but he can't try to be good without something else happening that is detrimental to him. Rean staying means a lot to Al, and Al just wants to give back to be a good friend.

Okay tl;dr at least I will try...
Al knows he screwed up and holds himself responsible for starting it all and he knew he had to explain things to "Sakura" eventually because, yeah, it was wrong. He was in a dark place when that all happened and even in the moment, he regretted it.
Had Xioalang asked him nicely in private, Al would have been far more likely to at least give a little something for his worries. But to demand it out of him after throwing goodwill in his face in public? No. So Al is having a hard time taking Xioalang seriously, especially since he refused his help and was willing to die with hate rather than live for love. Plus Xioalang has everything that a heart could want, yet he would throw it all out just to spite someone?
Added to the fact that Sakura was completely clueless and even when Al practically gave most of the details about what happened to Sakura, she didn't seem to connect the dots. Which to Al seems like Xioalang lied to her, which, if he was willing to lie to her, someone he loved, what would he do to someone he hated? Xioalang already tried to publicly shame him, under the pretext finding out each other's strength to work together, could he have done that to try to plot a way to kill him? What else would he do behind Al's back, if he was willing to try to create a scandal in front of his face?
So it is a big deal that Al saved his life because there is this uncertainty Al has with him. How far will Xioalang go? How many people will get dragged into this and potentially get hurt in the process?
What makes this particularly stressful for Al, is that it's not JUST them, but the world is involved since Sakura has her judgement, and Al also has to worry about end-of-the-world doomsday magic from his world. So avoiding them isn't an option, which Al would have gladly done.

He is really enjoying her company, and spar buddies! But he is scared that she might see how unbalanced and unstable he is. Hell, since this is a relatively normal friendship he is afraid she might just up and leave for any number of reasons.
He also really wants to get some recommendations for good anime since there are a few people that are into that and he wants to try to get into it to try to better relate to people.
