MINI!!! I'm canon-blind to everything Fate, but god, I really love threading with your Shinji so much. I love the dynamic that he and Xiaolang wound up fostering over the past year or so together-- from dumb competitive brats to dumb tsundere big brother/little brother antics to an actual genuine sibling type relationship. It's been interesting playing Syaoran off a younger kid since he's never really had anything like that in canon, and what's come from it is amazing! Shinji is the right blend of precocious brat and 'legit child stuck in stuff that's way over his head', and I know you've mentioned writing kids in the past is tough, but tbh I think you really nail it with him very well.

also you'll always have a special place in my heart for going straight for the otherkin jugular on Xiaolang's first post in the game

both of your characters are an absolute DELIGHT, lina loves having someone still here who she trusts as much as she does shuji and he's teaching her kind of a lot about herself in the process. meanwhile shinji is...

i am so, so glad that i'm finally threading with shinji. because anna should not be trusted to talk to any child, least of all one who can actually keep up with her. double least of all someone who has family issues and might start feeling responsible for him.

We’ve had all of one (1) thread but look. Shinji is wonderful, thank you for calling Malik out. I am completely canon-blind but that was a really fun thread for me. It’s awesome that you apped a kid character into a game since they’re so uncommon, and he strikes that balance of not being too mature for his age but not infantile. I definitely got the “yeah this is a tween” vibes from him but I mean that in the best possible way, haha.
