Tatsuo looks down at the pistol in his hand and lets out a small sigh. He checks the chamber, ejects the magazine, then offers both pieces to his friend. It's a handsome gun, by pretty much any measure. While the S&W revolvers Togusa has seen before are pretty standard issue for a Japanese police detective, the Beretta tend to be issued more for Special Investigation Teams. But if Togusa looks at where the serial number should be, he won't find one. Meaning it was 100% not police issued.
"It's not exactly 'finally,'" Tatsuo admits. "I've had this for a while."
As in over a year.
[ooc: S&W 37 chambers .38 Special and Beretta 92 Vertec chambers 9 mm Luger, soooo both smaller than .38 Magnum]
