Yeah. I'm sure that sort of thing is going to be way more up your alley than mine. I've tried, but... my eyes sort of glazed over at the whole thing.

...Ah. Well... yeah, I guess.
["I guess" Rean you are literally an RPG protagonist but. Okay.
He reaches for his ARCUS, still on the table from earlier, and flips it open to reveal nine circular slots, two of which (the center and the first off of a "branch" etched into its surface) are filled in. They're set with round blue stones which have gold etchings seemingly inside them.]
This thing, I guess it's an ARCUS unit. It's what grants Elliot, Crow and I our magic. I guess past me used to use this as a phone, too, but I'm not exactly looking to head back to 2005.
Let's see... ah, you remember my sword? [The one he brought to school after an embarrassing and stupid fight with his mother?] I'm suddenly a lot better at using it than I should be, given the last time I actually went to kendo class.
...Aaaand I can kind of. Sense people?
[He scratches at the back of his neck.]
It's weird, I don't really know how to explain it. I just... know people are there, even if I can't see them.
