and hmmmmmm what should they watch... oooooo Moribito. Fantastical historical drama with a badass female lead for Li-Na and some great martial arts battles for Xiaolang. A lowkey romance and themes of family, both blood and found.

IT'S SO GOOD.... I was considering him getting the Batman or Star Wars themed ones for her instead, but that one seemed appropriately badass and Li-Na is nothing but a BAMF in every respect

Also I've only heard of Moribito in passing until now so I looked it up and YES. YES. GIVE THEM ALL OF THE STRONG LADIES WITH SPEARS AND COOL BATTLES AND THINGS THAT TUG AT THE HEARTSTRINGS and I also have to watch this now too because it sounds AMAZING
