Just want to say that I cannot believe I've been in the game a whole year with this nerd, so thank you to the mods and everyone else who've made this past year so wonderful here and I love you all ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you! We've had some great threads, from the silly (I'm honored to have introduced Xiaolang to otherkin on his first post) to the serious (please let these kids not have to deal with people dying and them remembering dying thank you). You do a great job of playing Xiaolang seriously in a difficult situation while also not diminishing that he is still a kid.

Also he and Sakura are cute as shit.

Balancing his maturity with his age has always been a bit of a struggle (especially since his canon likes to forget how middle schoolers act, smh CLAMP), but I'm glad to know that I've been doing okay at it ;u; It's been really awesome seeing the development between these two dumb kids and how far they've come from last year, though! Your Shinji really hits that good spot between showboat-y brat and an actual child with understandable fears in regards to his current situation (especially his NPC parents, oh my god they've been through so much) and it's always been such a joy to thread with you ❤︎

Xiaolang is a complete joy to watch. You're really good at capturing that awkward age where you WANT to seem like you're an adult and cool, but deep down is still very much a kiddo. It can be a hard balance to strike, but you do it so well! I loved his CR with noah, and I'm glad Elliot and him are slowly building something.

look at me replying to things a thousand years late, but!! Thank you so much for the kind words, Yuff!! ;~~; I'm glad that people are enjoying seeing him around, his character type is very different from the ones I used to play, so I'm still kind of flailing about even now with him, ahaha-- I'm really happy to know that I got a good balance with him, though! CLAMP sort of forgets at times that the CCS cast is still a bunch of kids, so it's fun being in a game where that can be explored and expanded on! (because, really, WHO GIVES A TEN YEAR OLD A SWORD. WHO)

That said, I've really enjoyed the CR with Noah, as well as the developing stuff with Elliot! Noah was always a blast to read since his reactions were always hilarious and perfect (and him and Li-Na's broship was precious and makes me want to finally get past volume 3 of DGM), and Elliot is very much a precious cinnamon roll who is too pure for this Retrospec nonsense 8'''| I'm also really loving their discussions on magic and their abilities, and it's definitely something I want to explore more in the future with them too!

Just popping in to throw a little love for playing the best boy of my childhood anime! You've got him down pat perfectly, and I absolutely love the dynamic he and Crow have so far.

Xiaolang hits the 'teasable little brother' itch Crow's been having and I am completely looking forward to see what bad life decisions he drags this boy into

Syaoran was the best boy of my childhood too, and Recolle's the first place I've ever played him, so it's been... an experience, trying to figure him out, ahaha-- but I'm really, really glad to hear I've been doing him well! Especially from someone who watched the series as a kid, it makes my heart really happy ;~~;

(also I'm still crying over their dumb Retrospec thread, it's so beautiful and I'm so excited to do more with these nerds, I love it)

I'm so glad, though! You really bring the best parts of his personality out to shine. He's definitely different than most kids, but you've got it nailed! I can't wait to see what more happens with him and how Crow can ruin this poor child's semi-innocence!!!

Lunaaaa! ♥ Okay I've said it all before anyway but. I do love these two. So much. I'm still stoked that you apped him and gave him a try. Syaorans are rare, let alone CCS Syaorans. I never actually expected to get one so this has all been just. Amazing. ♥

Even after this, I hope we still at least psl because these two have just been so fun to explore together and I love it. Let alone the chatting and plotting on Plurk/Discord with rp and the streams together.

CAPRIIIIIICAAAAAA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I've probably said it a million of times before myself, but I WILL SAY IT AGAIN ANYWAY-- I'm so, so happy that we're getting to do this stuff together, and it's been so much fun exploring this ship through a different lens and seeing how it plays out in this sort of setting, and it's just-- it's been so good?? I've never played a canon ship in-game before (at least canon as in it's happened in the actual series), but I'm so glad I did here, because every thread we've had has been so cute and so precious and silly and I just-- want to do all the fanart of it?? I haven't drawn in so long but they're so adorable that I can't resist it UGH--

But Syaoran's been one of my favorite anime boys since I was a kid, so the idea of playing him (in a new game, no less) was kind of intimidating, but I'm so glad that I took the chance and joined Recolle! I'm so glad to have been able to provide you with a rare canonmate, and I'm equally glad to be in a game with such a great Sakura, because all of her threads (even those without Syaoran) are always so cute and fun to read and honestly, your Sakura is just so perfect I don't know what to even do ;-;

I will most definitely be down for psls for post-Recolle things, because there is no way in hell I wouldn't want to keep exploring what they have in-game (although I am 100% good for canon-based ones too!!) You're also just a completely wonderful person OOCly and so fun to talk to, so EVEN WITHOUT RP I'M GLAD TO BE BROS ♥

♥ aw. Honestly, Sakura ( and Usagi, for that matter. ) initially kinda intimidated me because I love the series and character and know how popular it is. So I can relate to feeling intimidated/nervous at first. But ugh yes, definitely I'd love to do psl things after Rec, whatever happens. Canon or au. Esp once the manga for Clear Card has finished and we know more of what the story is there to work with.

I just love Xiaolang and his love for Sakura and also how he takes things so seriously. I love the detail you put into your description. It is really fun to tag with him!

But I absolutely love tagging Derek too, since you've really did a wonderful job with his AU! It's interesting to see how his new life molded him into something a bit different from the Draco we usually know, but he still maintains a lot of the core traits that Draco had too, which is really cool! Like Derek can be a pain in the butt when he gets an idea into his head and can be really tenacious, but he's also a good man who's struggling with a lot of Retrospec's nonsense and he's just... he's just a really great character and I love the CR we've had together, it's been amazing

(also it makes me want to reread HP because I have a whole new appreciation for Draco now THANKS FOR THAT)

The time when Derek was Sakura's older brother and giving Xiaolang a hard time was some of my favorite moments between the two. Now that he isn't Sakura's brother anymore, all he can do is cheer them on and live vicariously through their love lives.

Xiaolang is such a good bean and I love every thread we've ever had with him and Li-Na. I would lurk on every one of his threads if I could, but alas, I have to sleep at some point. You put so much thought into how you portray Xiaolang, and that's one of the main reasons I enjoy playing with you so much.

Li-Na will protect this precious boy with her life.

Though on the subject of thoughtful portrayals, I really, really, really love your Li-Na so much, oh my god-- she feels so real and nuanced, and I absolutely love all the research and details you've put into her AU as well. All the little cultural things (like the snacks/food she likes, the places she grew up in, etc) and her interests just come off as very natural and normal to her, and you have her at this perfect balance of sweet/friendly and absolute, fierce badass. It makes me want to catch up with the rest of DGM since you've given me a whole new appreciation for Leenalee (I mean, I've always liked her but NOW I JUST LIKE HER MORE), and I just-- I adore playing with you and I love the CR we have so much, it's absolutely wonderful ♥♥♥
