ABOUT: The college dropout daughter of military historians, Anna views herself as the "burner kid" and has taken that to the extreme for most of her life. She moved to the city for college in 2009, dropped out in 2010, and has lived here ever since. She's worked tons of odd jobs in an attempt to find some meaning in her life and, until recently, did tech support and fostered a customer service voice so sickly sweet it could peel paint off the walls. When she got the app in February 2018, she found an entire world opening up in front of her, one that had been here this whole time that she'd just never been able to see. Finally, she had actual opportunities, chances to do something instead of just sit in a holding pattern.
CURRENTLY: Memories suck and the app sucks but she'll fight until she fucking dies for the city that never stops shaping her life. She's struggling with survivor's guilt, partially from A2 and partially because of not being able to lift a finger to save Clover Geteilt (

servileness) from death at the hands of her own daemon. She's withdrawn and a little harder to talk to than normal, and before the month is out, she'll be taking up residency in the woods so she can be alone and try to avoid things. She's also struggling constantly with how comfortable she is with the idea of hunting down and killing Clarence Vanderweele, 119-year-old mage whom she believes is responsible for everything going wrong with Retrospec and messing up her city. She's no longer convinced A2 was a murderous psychopath, but that doesn't mean she can't become one all on her own.
REGAINS: Anna is half-robot! She's regained A2's cyborg legs, and I intend to have her get some other parts sooner rather than later. She also has an electrified sword as well as a white katana, and she does talk very seriously and openly about the premeditated murder of Vanderweele. She remembers she's slain a bunch of other machines, and she knows she used to be the commander (and is now the sole survivor) of a squad on a mission to Earth on (what she has to assume is) behalf of humanity.
WANTED CR: Anna's been in the city for nine years now and has worked, like I mentioned, a ton of odd jobs to make ends meet. She's lived in the same apartment in Birch Hills since she dropped out, which means she kind of knows a lot of college-age people despite her best efforts to meet more people her age. Currently she works as a Club Sunshine girl, though because of game events she hasn't been there in a few months. If your characters wants to know her through any of these avenues, fire away and we can hash some stuff out!

ABOUT: Carmelina (Lina, as she goes by) grew up in the orphanage, where she found her five sisters (under the guidance of Rose,

blacksong) and joined the Geteilt family. She became an exceptional cook in the orphanage, and when she became the only one of her sisters to be adopted rather than age out of the system, her adoptive parents were all too eager to foster that skill. She's now 21 years old and attending RU for a degree in culinary arts. Up until recently, she lived with her adoptive parents, but she moved in with Jen Bowen (

burndownforwhat) in September, and she is now in the middle of the biggest, messiest lesbian soap opera of her life.
CURRENTLY: At the immediate moment, Lina's dealing with the death and revival of her sister, the idea that each of the Geteilts is going to need a "contingency plan" in case this happens again, an absolute snarl of a love life, the memories of two separate people blending together into one in her head, guilt over not having written anything for her food blog since she got the app in April, and constant nightmares about her own death by dragonfire. She's under some stress, and because of who she is, it's getting harder and harder to keep all of it under wraps and put on a happy face. She'll be turning into a monster with the event, likely of several different types depending on how successful Natalia (

nachetanya) is at keeping people from her. If it gets bad enough, expect to see some real Drakengard 3 Branch B/C madness going on in here.
REGAINS: Lina will make food for people, she'll do her absolute best to care about them sincerely (even if it stretches her beyond her own breaking point), she can punch and lift and throw things super good because she's slowly becoming the vessel for an alien flower with the power to destroy the world, and she fucking hates dragons.
WANTED CR: Other college students are always a rich vein! Also people who might have known her when she ran her food blog, or people who know her from her monthly work in the orphanage making food for the kids there. (They still care about her a lot down there and it's one of the places she can go to feel at peace when everything's going crazy.) Bonus points if your characters can share recipes for non-Western food, because she's trying very hard to expand her repertoire and get good at working with atypical ingredients.
