Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

He's gotten smacked a few times for not exactly expressing himself right. Also has blown up on occasion, so Al can understand him doing the same.

He won't be HAPPY about it, but he understands so he would probably won't say much about it.

He is the kind that would never give up on someone he has set his mind to helping, so even if he didn't already go through some hardships of his own, he would still stay by him.

Okay, yeah, these two needs to be friends. Al sounds like someone Sayo would get along with and he'd be a good influence on him, which he desperately needs.

Well...relatively speaking a good infulence. He pickpockets/steals money and/or food. He tries to clean up his act, hell, the food he gives him would probably be a result of his stealing.

Al does need some friends too, even if his buddy is unstable. Al himself isn't always stable himself(He suffers from PTSD when his family was murdered by cops)

I mean, Sayo's a thief, too. He regularly steals food and other small things, so that's to be expected, honestly.

Sayo will be a good friend, even if he struggles, too. They can be struggle buddies.

Yeah for struggle buddies!

So, would they have met when Al was running away from the police/his last adopted family? Or after he got adopted(again, with his current family)?

Probably when he was running away. He's used to seeing other kids come and go and is used to hiding from police and probably would've offered him advice on where to safely lay low.

Okay, that makes sense. That would have been two years ago from current game time.

I didn't really think about how long her actually hid before the police got him and forced him back in the orphanage. Maybe about a month or two?

Sounds good to me. Sayo's going to be off the streets when he comes in, but he'll still visit all of his old haunts every now and again.

Okay then, so when he came in to recolle, Sayo runs into him trying to hide in one of his old spots?

And then now he is back on the streets?(A bad family? That's why Al ran away from his last one)

Sayo ran away from yet another family that couldn't deal with him and his outbursts and general emotional problems and he was essentially marked as unadoptable and kind of slipped through the cracks. He got sick of being abandoned.

In game, if he gets in, he's going to be living with Kasen but has a habit of disappearing to his old spots because he was on the streets for so long. He's also still got the fear of everything stable collapsing around him.

Awww, poor guy. So basically he either ran away from home again when Al arrives in the city and later in game is still in the streets.

Al's last family never believed a word he said, saying he was a sole survivor of a drug bust involving the local mob boss(who is his dad). Kinda set alarms off with everyone. Including the social workers. So Al would understand Sayo's reservations
