Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a
AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a
AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc.
BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. You can also use this section to ask for canonmates you would like to see in-game whether it be in your specific AU or for different CR.

i'm okay with either route! if we do floormates instead of roommates we could try to eventually get roomie cr with other people / leave the door open for that? :|a do you have a pref?

I'm torn. I love the idea of them being floormates, since it might be interesting to have them be "separated" for the first time (I doubt they shared a room at home, but it's still far enough away). The only reason I hesitate is that I'm not in the game yet, so that puts me at a slight disadvantage of finding Lucille a roommate. I don't have a lot of people in this game on my friends list on either Plurk or Discord, so it's hard to put out a call.

I think for now we can go with them being floormates, and absolute worst case I can give her an NPC for a roommate.

i'm chill with them being roommates! like, it's nbd to me either way, and it'd give them a base to go from and maybe they could swap to new roomies later on or something if we really wanted - so whatever is easiest for you is cool with me. c:

also, how long ago is "recent" for moving? a month or two so they'd have been settled over summer before school started up? like in june or july?

I'm thinking sometime before school started. Generally colleges do move in a few weeks before classes begin (I used to work welcome week), but we can also say that they moved out mid summer to get used to the area. I'm fairly open.

mid-summer, then? i think that gives us time to have some of our pre-cr established to like, ~friends~ basis if need be. :|a
