Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

AU OCCUPATION: University student on full scholarship
BLURB:
* Emma was abandoned as a baby and started out as a street urchin. I.e. probably orphanage/system, but she spent very little time at the orphanage and most of her time out in the streets.
* She's still very brilliant, and both her street learning and her drive to make things better have gotten her to get as much education as possible. She's full scholarship university student now.
* In general, she's decided that acting polite and mannered will get her further and to better opportunities to help life as she's known it, but she has a savage underside. Don't get her mad.
* Doesn't exactly keep her origins a secret, but doesn't talk much or easily about it, either.
* Had an older sister figure who abandoned her/the group they were more or less taking care of a few years back.
* Has learned a lot of things from surviving and taking care of kids out in the streets. Including but not limited to first aid/patching people up.
LOOKING FOR: Anything! Friends, budding support system, teachers, other students, enemies, people to take care of, additional ideas...

Probably through school, if Eren went to a public school? She was definitely nowhere close to private/rich schooling. And, gods. Pre-med. Almost tempted to go with 'double major with...' though if she'll do med, she'd probably focus on that. Except maybe minor in economics. She just wants to make sure kids like her have access to some medical help, even if she has to provide it herself?

mmmmMMM yea eren probably was at some rich private school :’( but we can totally work with something around pre-med, since eren’s emt-focused course probably shares quite a few classes (i’m only assuming but hey let’s warp the world to our favor). he’ll be seeing her around RU then, and since they both study hard

why not library buddies

Ohhh they could be library buddies since before uni, actually! She'd totally spend daylight hours not set aside from school at a library. Daylight hours are a little safer to leave people alone. in...

well that's right up may's alley, 4 sure

H I yeah good. Emma has her shit scarily together, but that's so that she can take care of everyone else.

may is a reformed street rat herself, at least after the summer's re-au event. she works as a pro wrestler now, and tries to do community outreach. it's possible emma's story caught her ears, since she still has a lot of connections to that world, even if they hadn't met personally just yet
