AU WORKSHOP - SEPTEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. • Grew up in a small rural town, surrounded by a huge family
  
• Father and mother are active parts of the community (teachers? physicians?), and got Lucille involved in doing things around town
  
• Naturally driven in school, and aspired to Do Something Great from a very young age
  
• Recently moved to Recolle for school. Starting her first year at the university on either partial or full scholarship'
  
• Aspirations for law? Currently pursing the whole "try a random class and see what clicks" route
  
• Volunteers. A lot. When does she find time to sleep who knows?
  
• Probably also involved in some kind of intramural activity, because again when does this girl sleep Can't Stop Won't Stop.

LOOKING FOR: Lucille already comes from a large family, but I would love to find her some siblings! In canon, she has an older brother that she idolized, and I think it would be really cute if she got to be the older sibling this time around. I'm flexible on where her parents are currently living, so we can work this out.

Also classmates and friends around college, as well as fellow volunteers for her to bond with! I'm leaning toward having her look at more of a liberal major for her undergrad studies, so again this is really flexible.

ELLIOT CRAIG Cousin (older). Lucille received rudimentary piano lessons from his mom growing up. Two big Disney nerds.

NATALIA FAIRWEATHER Cousin (older). Looked up to her growing up, due to her bright and outspoken nature.

RAYNE FAIRWEATHER Twin sister. Rayne is the younger one, but not by much, and Lucille absolutely adores her.

TOUYA KINOMOTO Classmate, occasional co-worker. Fellow older sibling.

TSUYU ASUI Classmate, with a similar career track.

i'm considering either edward elric here or rapunzel, both of whom are Blonde and could be siblings perhaps? (i'm torn between them atm, but will do one or the other; rapunzel is Nice and cute and has ongoing series stuff to drag from while ed is A Menace)

As a Winry player I might have just screamed a little.

But honestly I would love both of them? Lux is a literal ball of sunshine, so it doesn't matter how much of a turd Ed is, she can usually manage to cut through that easy. Want a goody two-shoes who is terrible at taking care of herself as a sister, Ed?

But oh gosh her and Rapunzel would be cute too. I can't decide I love both of these ideas.

Also sliding back in here because suddenly ideas, but thoughts on twins if you go with Rapunzel? They both have some kind of light/sun motif going, and they're the same age.

rapunzel IS the one i've played in a game before, tbh - and they kind of look very similar?? so i think twins would work easily, and one of them could have appearance-swapped eyes to blue or green? THEY WOULD BE...THE HAPPIEST PAIR OF SISTERS, jfc although i'm like :)? at what i would swap her name too if anything...what if she just. gets a princess name so i can have an easy time. what if.

I'm fine one way or the other re: eye color. I've been slowly chipping away at iconing a PB for her (because what is LoL fanart does that exist ffff), so it wouldn't take much for me to make that adjustment. Or I can edit icons for you if you want a blue eyed Rapunzel.

Also the funny thing about Ed is that she would 100% not take his crap when he decides to be him. Also she has a temper so it probably runs in the family........

Ye ye let's work out some cousin anecdotal things given that they would have grown up together and honestly are pretty compatible besides that.

Yes, definitely!

Lucille is honestly a very active person, and I've been keeping a lot of the details about her growing up fairly loose so she can slot in easily enough. If nothing else, Lucille probably followed her around when she was still very young, but what are some things that Natalia was (or is) into? Lucille probably took an interest in at least some things in order to be like her.

Well she has always loved animals, both the ones on farms and ones in the woods and such. It's been something she's always explored about to see if she can't find various species and observe/photograph them. I've established that her parents have three dogs around their orchards?

Also she liked to swim when she was younger, but that got harder post-arm. She picked up bowling as a lifelong physical hobby so she probably picked that up young.

I'd also set up that when she was really young (like younger than 11) she won the county faire type thing Young Miss Town or etc contests more than once, like popular with the adults for being cute and well spoken for her age. And then of course when she was eleven they discovered advanced bone cancer in her left arm and had to amputate it and she had to go through more than one year of physical therapy to adapt to it and then to the prosthetic and it made her school and just life in general a lot more complicated? She made it through in part due to family support and in part due to a NPC because a friend was going to app them and now it just kinda hangs there in the wind best friend growing up who was her support at school.

That said she also got a lot more invested in community outreach (volunteer work and such, which she still continues to do) and progressive thought (... I offscreen this for obvious reasons but I'm sure she's a member of Recolle's DSA chapter if they have one) then too? Became vegetarian around the time she was 17, was a bit of a tumblrina in her teen years I've established, generally just sort of outgrew the small town life so she leapt to go to college in a bigger cosmopolitan city like Recolle as soon as she could, even if she doesn't by any means have a bad relationship with her family and until the plot stuff in game started to prevent it visited them pretty regularly.

... she also likes to drive? Which she recognizes as a contradiction but still!!!

SORRY WORK GOT REALLY BUSY FOR ME. So what I'm thinking is that maybe these two would go out into the woods a lot, since Lucille is more of an adventurous girl and also following her cousin like her shadow. I imagine she also helped out during the summer/fall on the orchard as well.

She isn't necessarily as much a progressive (we'll see how vocal she gets as she begins to get regains), but if there's a cause that Natalia is putting herself out for, she will at least try to either support or... at least understand it to some degree. Community events are more her speed, though. She likes being around and helping people, so this could be something that they do together as well, when able.

It's possible Lucille may know his cousin Leon? He's a university student himself (second or... third year, I'M TERRIBLE, I FORGET) and he's extremely driven/motivated in classes, but also......... really, really arrogant LMAO so who knows how their CR might stem from that

alternately, since she'll know Touya, and by extension his little sister, who is... also Xiaolang's CLAMP soulmate girlfriend, she might run into Xiaolang that way too? Please stop your co-worker from spending ten minutes glaring daggers at a tiny grumpy fourteen year old boy

It's possible! Is this character someone in the game? An NPC? I would need to know more about him and his role (and preferably talk to the player) in the game to really make that determination.

I could see her giving Touya a hard time about picking on Xiaolang at the very least, if she sees it is a regular thing. It's okay, Xiaolang, it's an older sibling thing! He's (probably) harmless.

dfsd OH YEAH, no, Leon's someone in the game! He's Xiaolang's cousin/guardian who's a business major in Recolle U, since he's the heir to his father's technology company in Hong Kong! I agree that talking with the mun is probably the best course of action with this, since she'll have a better idea of where to go with it, but it is a possibility...! Xiaolang does hang around the university campus on occasion so he can head home with him, so it's also possible that Lucille might spot him around after classes too! Because it's hard to miss a fourteen year old kid lingering around a college building HAHA....

But yes, it's very much a regular thing, so PLEASE, CALL TOUYA OUT ON HIS SISTER COMPLEX, MAKE XIAOLANG'S LIFE EASIER AND LET HIM DATE HIS SISTER IN PEACE

Yeah, I would want to work that out with the player first before making any plans.

Also Lucille can't exactly call him out outside of light teasing because while she thinks it's ridiculous she is also a big sister and adores her twin so. Sorry Xiaolang she understands to an extent, but he's probably always going to be like that. She's rooting for you, though!

Li-Na's a uni freshman as well. She's in the dance program, but she still has a bunch of gen eds to do, so maybe her and Lucille have a class together?

Oh my gosh yes I would love this! These two could potentially be really adorable. She just recently moved, so this girl could use more friends anyway.

Li-Na is all for making new friends. She will show Lucille all the best spots in town. Like coffee? Like bubble tea? Like cupcakes? Like cats? Like good food? Li-Na has you covered.

She's a country girl, there are probably a lot of things she's never tried or seem before but would love to. She is, however, big on things like fashion, so she can return the favor by making sure her new friend looks super cute all the time.

Eren there is no "honorary" about it, you're a Fairweather even if you aren't legally yet. But yes definitely. I'm not sure how long they've been together, or if he ever has the ability to go back to the farm for holidays, but if so she would have been one of many who basically adopted him from the get go.

And if not, I imagine she was introduced to him when she moved, because moving into a dorm takes an army sometimes. As long as he treats her cousin well, she will adore him.
