AU WORKSHOP - MARCH Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! god YES, PLEASE, that'd be hilarious?? Just Quin being like 'hey, sorry for this guy, he can be a huge crab but he's not a bad person' and Xiaolang's just like ??? I HAVEN'T EVEN SPOKEN TO THEM YET DON'T TELL THEM THAT

but!! they could also have known one another from Home Ec/Crafting club when Quin was still in middle school? Xiaolang's actually really, really good at that sort of thing himself, and he probably signed up for it when he first transferred since he was signing up for EVERYTHING (because it looks good on his college resume ok!!), and he might have gotten competitive over it?? IDK

it would be cute if they can get embarrassed over crushes together, though, and Quin not even realizing it's Sakura he's getting blushy over until he actually sees it in person (or, alternately, is the one that gets SUPER HYPED for whatever developments happen between the two of them because IF XIAOLANG ISN'T GOING TO EXPRESS EMOTIONS, ONE OF US HERE HAS TO)

Ruining reputations before they even have a chance to be reputations. Yeah, sounds like Harlequin!

Oh my gosh, competitive middle school handicrafts. Yes. They could have had the other club members judge which of their creations was best each time, made decorations for school events and bragged to each other, the ridiculousness never ends.

Getting embarrassed over crushes together would also be adorable, I am so down. He could not realize Xiaolang's crushing on Sakura at first, then become the one who gets super hyped for any developments between them! Because yes, he would totally be that guy.

SLAMMING INTO HERE REALLY LATE BECAUSE I HAD AN IDEA WE CAN WORK INTO THE TDM THREAD (or just... any time later, whichever works better for you--)

Back in the October TDM, the movie theater was having a costume contest for free passes and I had Xiaolang go as this, and now I'm like-- thinking it'd be hilarious if Harlequin was one of the people who entered the contest too with something he made and either wound up winning or they both got beat by the dude with the functional Transformers costume

REGARDLESS IT'D BE CUTE but I didn't want to bring it up ICly unless you were cool with it!!
