AU WORKSHOP - MARCH Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? CHARACTER: Ashura
CANON: RG Veda
AU NAME: Ashura Charbonneau
AU AGE: 29
AU OCCUPATION: Spoiled rich kid; he does what he wants.
BLURB:
-Cousin of Fai's. Father is French, mother is Indian. Raised as a spoiled child.
-Has a half-brother whom he's estranged from after a trauma happened to the brother.
-Moved to Recolle with servants, simply to try it out. Mother would not let him travel alone. Has lived in Recolle for two years.
-Raised primarily by mother and mother's side of family because father is often busy and on business trips. Doesn't mean relationship is bad with father, though.
-Was attacked in early teen years by a jealous friend of the family/ex-employee of father's. Mother does not like him being alone because of this.
-Father took care of Fai for a bunch of years overseas, though neither Ashura nor Fai know of he other.
-While overall gentle, still sometimes has traits of spoiled personality.
-Often doesn't know what to do with the "average life", and can have a childlike take on things. As a result, is curious about almost everything.
-Blames themselves for what happened to their brother.
-Hates to be teased.
-Being attacked is terrifying and he will cower from it. He has no problems with being protected, and actually finds it to be an admirable quality if someone shows him chivalry.
-Since is not an unwanted child, doesn't have the trauma that came with his birth in his former life.
-Since is not in a warring period, he does not feel the need to do much to fight or protect other people. His brother is one exception to this, even though having to fight scares him.
-lacks stubborn streak; more likely to be puzzled than adamant.
-Likes being around people and will make efforts to be around those he likes 'on first sight'. This can turn into flirting and more.
-Tends to be flighty. After all, he doesn't have to worry about much at this time.
LOOKING FOR:
-Lovers of the male variety, past, present, and future.
-Anyone willing to hire him. He doesn't need work, per se, but he's definitely interested in trying it out. Just make sure you don't give the delicate child more than part-time hours.
-Estranged half-brother.
-Servants? Why not.
-Honestly, throw things at me. I'm honestly up for just about anything. Though additional family members will also need to be confirmed through Fai-mun.

If he's a past lover, then expect Ashura to flirt regardless. He's not the type to have bitter feelings about things.
As a lover, Ashura would probably spoil him with gifts, because it's fun! He would probably also rely on Sephiroth to be the "more responsible one", should Sephiroth so accept this quest, lol. As well as maybe try to coax Sephiroth to participate in his public performances? Plays, dances, and the like.

He's a student at Recolle Uni and part of the gymnastics team and works at a fabric store, so IDK if any of those are good bouncing off points either.

Also, seeing Yogi perform at gymnastics would make him want to pull Yogi into a performance arrangement! After all, it's amazing! He will gravitate to Yogi as a friend like white does to rice! All of this is great to work off of! :3

Yogi’s A junior at Recolle U so he’s been there a few years now himself. Maybe within the last year perhaps? So still learning some stuff about each other, but comfortable enough around each other.
