Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

AU OCCUPATION: first year college student who works part time at a bike shop!
BLURB:
🔫 very important to character arc: he owns an electric scooter and not a motorcycle
🔫 scholarship kid because he doesn't come from a family with a lot of wealth
🔫 lives with his auntie ( : try and tease him about it and ur dead
🔫 moved in with his aunt because he wanted his own space, whereas in his old household (with his mom, sisters and Extended Family) he had no thinking room at all
🔫 very closed off and to himself, but with enough persistence will open up
🔫 a little edgy tbh
🔫 also really embarrassing
🔫 has a bit of a temper that still persists into his First Semester at College (tm)
🔫 takes at least 20 units and a shit ton of financial aid
🔫 doesn't really know what to do with life but his major currently is auto repair!
🔫 broke his arm during a freak accident on his scooter so he's always in a cast
🔫 worked odd jobs during high school, some ended in him being let go due to differences between him and his employer
🔫 doesn't really have a lot of friends outside of family / doesn't know how to make them either

does nero want to be friends with a hyperactive bean?! no?! well what if the bean sticks to him regardless!?! because flat loves Edgy people and will probably be super interested in nero and consider him a friend without nero’s permission... he’s probably saddled with a nickname and everything.

Atsushi would love to try and make friends with him at the university! He’s kind of a sunshine child but he’s drawn to the edgy types because he’s so curious about them. He also frequents the library and works at a bakery.

prompto did several odd jobs during hs too (and when he was in college??) so maybe their general job looking landed them in the same job once or twice

besides if you want a friend that nero will be annoyed at having... prompto's your guy haha he'll bother nero about customising his scooter and making it all badass and edgy (when it's really not), plus prompto's "punk aesthetic" might be something nero... can look at and be like... "ok, he's also edgy" lmao

Brian actually owns his own shop for cars and bikes and is a bike enthusiast himself if you're interested in him working there
