AU WORKSHOP - MARCH Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. You can also use this section to ask for canonmates you would like to see in-game whether it be in your specific AU or for different CR. |

i'd be totally okay with them being cousins! i read into your au history for nanashi and maybe nanashi's father and raidou's father could have been brothers? raidou's father didn't want to get involved in shady shit anymore so he ditched and went to america? i'm pretty open to whatever you want to do in regards with their situation as cousins/how they're related if you want to suggest anything!

That works perfectly for me. I'm actually really interested in playing that scenario out. It'd be cool to see them interact that way.

yes! the age gap will be a little difficult since they're eight years apart but we can definitely work around it like maybe raidou's grandparents (whether they're his parental grandparents and also nanashi's or maternal, i don't mind either way) pushed for raidou to stay in contact with nanashi because family's family! i can tweak raidou's backstory and say that he's fluent in japanese instead so they could communicate easily
at what age did nanashi come to recolle? i feel like raidou would want to watch over him and open his home to him whenever

Nanashi came to Recolle at the age of 14! He's been living there for about a year or so. Since he can't fend for himself he's been under the care of some unnamed guardians.
We can say that he occasionally visits Raidou. That part should be easy.

raidou would have been in recolle for about five years now so we can definitely handwave and say that he and nanashi have been hanging around for the year that nanashi came to the city. radiou's that cousin where if your unnamed guardians won't let you do shit or eat dessert for breakfast, you go to him because he'd probably let you do it (to an extent)
