Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

We definitely could hash something out! She's probably too serious about her studies for her own good, but would love to talk to people about her heritage, geek out, among other things so it's definitely wide open what kind of relationship they could have, especially since she's plenty friendly to everyone!

I don't have eyes I just realized you wrote third-generation immigrant... I think heritage would actually be one of the few things Hibari is open to making small-talk about? A part of me thinks family friends might work out despite them having pretty different backgrounds.

Alternatively Hibari is still the kind of person to get into fist fights even with his family's reputation riding on his shoulders so maybe she caught him licking at his wounds one day sjdflk

She'd probably attach herself to anyone who considers her a friend, even if he's a bit abrasive and gets in fights. Just... shake her head, wonder why he does this and help him and support him how she can.

Maybe Akane's grandmother was a schoolmate of Hibari's grandparents? I think that would give us a feasible springboard if you choose to bring Akane to Recolle! tbh Hibari is loyal enough to his family to maintain ties even if he hates his parents...

Definitely doable! She's super close to her grandma so she could mention things about her friends' grandson coming to recolle and Akane would be interested. :3

That would be great! Alas, Akane's grandmother's friends' grandkid is kind of a brat but... deep down inside he can at least be courteous...

I think it would definitely at least give each of them a reason to seek each other out! Maybe Hibari's own grandparents asked as a favor to introduce himself to Akane and her grandmother to send their regards?

That would and I think that's honestly a really cute way for them to establish their backstory! She probably figuratively kind of clung to him because of all the reasons and maybe they ended up being pretty good friends as a result.

I definitely agree! Hibari is the kind of person who generally doesn't like people who cling to him, but those who are persistent-enough do manage to endear themselves to him! I'm looking forward to this too since it mixes some family and friend relations together.
