Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

Genesis' mother is from Japan, he stayed in Japan for a little bit (and obviously visits because family), so he could be a family friend/cousin/something? and as he's older he could at least keep an eye on him (Chiaki why are you on so many apps????). Also, during the years with Andrew deployed, he may have needed some assistance in the bookstore from time to time.

Oohhh, I'd be up for this!! I'll have to double-check with the fambam that's already established for Chiaki before I can agree to the cousin, but we can definitely do something pre-established in a similar vein regardless!

HE WOULD ABSOLUTELY LATCH ONTO AN OLDER MENTOR FIGURE THOUGH REGARDLESS. And he would've been happy to work in the bookstore!! also he... once again would've accidentally forgotten to ask for actual compensation he just wanted to help Genesis out!

Genesis is about eleven years his senior, so there's a very real chance that they met during one of Gen's visits to Japan with his mom's side of the family! And then like, somehow saw each other again Stateside and were like OH HEY ITS YOU and just kept touch off and on ever since? ~~maybe worried Chiaki when Genesis has a bout of illness and stays at a hospital or some such~~

Look!!!! Genesis can’t help that he has a shitty constitution okay! He’s not worrying people on purpose!! But awww, fruit baskets, so cute! Although okay Chiaki can be worried when this month because Genesis fell off a stool and he’s gonna start the game with a cast on his arm. I’m not sorry.
