IT WAS... will things get more awkward or better? TO BE CONTINUED
Since Jasmine is Clover's sister, Leon is dumb and feels awkward being around her considering his past with her. In his mind, he feels like she dislikes him on the basis of his messy break up with Clover. It also didn't help their first group quest was... really awkward and he felt even more certain that she doesn't like him after that mess.
So when he got paired up with her again for the second quest, he had his reservations but at least wanted to act civil for the sake of completing the quest. However! His opinion on her did change. After fighting together, he feels like he can at least trust and rely on her if they ever had to fight like that again. Weirdly, he sort of grew not to mind her as much? Like, there's always going to be that sense of unease because she's related to Clover but he does see her in a new light after that Water spirit fiasco. ESPECIALLY after what she said to him when he got knocked down. :') Even if he's still unaware she doesn't mean it but hey!!! Now he's totally convinced that she thinks he's rightfully a talented genius. SO IN A WAY, he kind of feels like there's a tiny bit of camaraderie between them.
Also, he'll never be over the fact that she shares the same name as his dog.... oops.
