On hindsight, Minato would take back a lot of what he'd done, but it's less out of guilt and realizing his faults, than it is because he simply did not know Mako at all. He didn't know anything of what he'd experienced— why his immediate thought about monsters is that they're likely to attack them, like they did in August, whereas Minato's perception of monsters is limited to the mistletoe bats and subway rats, minor annoyances whose aggression Minato had attributed to simply being hungry or wanting to protect their home, in the case of the rats. He didn't know Mako was a cop, either, otherwise... yeah. The first week of February was Minato being taken out of his element in an overwhelming variety of ways re. being with a lot of people all at once and getting attacked by all sides with ~emotions~, so he was a lot more rash and agitated about everything; not an excuse, just context. Pen messaged him later about how Mako had talked to her about what happened, and she asked if Minato was angry at Mako at the time. He said no, he wasn't; there was frustration because he couldn't communicate anything with Mako. This compounded again later when he learned that Mako went straight to Minako about it instead of talking to him, and sort of disregarded Mako's "you didn't make it easy to talk to you" because he felt like Mako had just written him off as a lost cause and didn't even try. But he does recognize that he's being exceedingly difficult and by the end of the month, has mellowed out greatly, so while he wouldn't seek Mako out to reconcile, he doesn't hold anything against him either, because most of it was Minato's fault anyways, he'd apologized already, so he assumes that's over and done with. Mostly he's wary of Mako because he felt like he almost died getting tackled HAHA
