There's some low level concern Minato's always kept at the back of his mind, from way back in November when Kirishima talked about hunting monsters and killing something that used to be human. Back then, Minato was still fairly new to Retrospec and spent a great deal of his time just getting acclimated to the city itself, but his talk with Kirishima drove in the gravity of Retrospec and the powers granted to people. They talked about fighting, about preparing oneself, about the people they trust, about losing one's sense of self with the invasion of another's memories. It was a really good conversation and largely set the stage for how Minato regards the other "him" in his memories going forward from that point on and until now.

Kirishima as a person, though, there's a lot that Minato feels he doesn't know but is really interested in (bondage mask...) but also his quirk and him being a hero, things that Minato isn't quite sure what they mean, but he doesn't want to push it because Kirishima shouldn't have to fulfill the same shoes as his other self; he should be allowed to learn and grow and become his own person. Kirishima has what it takes to be a hero— hardening of his skin is impressive as all heck, and Kirishima's immediate concern over Minato not being able to breathe or about hurting the horses when he's hard are all things that point to him being a great hero- but this is something he shouldn't feel obligated to do, so Minato doesn't feel like it's his place to sway or encourage him.
