Anyway, he likes Chiyo. He likes her a lot. Daisuke only thought of her as a friend for so long, but that confession dare put him in the hot seat and watching Chiyo ramble about her passions of love really got his heart racing. (???) His Recolle version is freaking weird about romance as opposed to his canon version where he would somehow get an easy twin rebound (hideous) because he's a shoujo protagonist. It really just started with that ~fateful~ day and it just... spiraled from there. With each passing day, he started to think about Chiyo more often. How she's cute, so supportive, a good friend to have... it made his heart doki even more. Is this what happens when you start liking someone?! The answer is yes, at least to Daisuke. Months have passed since then. He's not a bumbling mess when it comes to merely talking with Chiyo because he tries hard keeping himself in check so that he doesn't accidentally blurt out something incredibly stupid. This is also because he doesn't want to make her uncomfortable because he's not sure where the line is between being friendly with your crush and pretending you're not crushing at all.
Daisuke thinks Chiyo is a great person nonetheless. He likes everything about her! He would go to her if he's having problems. He would lend her Wiz if she wanted him. He would want to hang out with her and be normal. He would also offer to get accidentally stabbed and be abnormal together. He wants to spend time with her to get to know her a lot better. He's also trying to be a better person (though it's gonna take a while) in hopes to be a more reliable person, someone she can depend on, because nothing feels better than being validated by the one person you really like. He really hopes that he can spill his feelings about her in the most straightforward manner because people have been telling him that he should. just. be BLUNT AND STRAIGHTFORWARD ABOUT IT.
Though for the sake of hilarity, that probably won't happen for a while.
