Eren is a certified dumbass, but he's Katsuki's dumbass, which makes all of the difference. One of Katsuki's favourite things in the world is to make fun of Eren or bitch relentlessly about things with him. He's one of the few people that Katsuki feels comfortable with and he doesn't get sick of having Eren around even when he's being incredibly irritating. Eren is one of the few (e.g. grand total of 3 probably) people that Katsuki even bothers to consider as a friend. He'd kick anyone in the fucking chest for him.
It honestly sucked a lot when Katsuki was going to school abroad because he didn't really get along with any of his schoolmates like he did with Eren. He essentially had to travel just to be with someone that he could stand.
And he's glad that Eren found someone weird enough to want to date him, but he'd also kick Elliot in the chest if he broke his heart.
