Gar is very....Gar. ROFL. As Elliot described him to Eren, he's the most fifteen 15-year-old he's ever met. Which basically means that while they are only 3 years apart in age, thanks to Gar's very youthful maturity, the gap feels a lot bigger. Gar feels like a Kid with a capital K, and Elliot feels like he should have constant supervision before he does something like drink more toxic water or get himself killed because he decided to livestream wrestling a wild animal.
That said, he actually LIKES Gar. There's a certain charm to his child-like ways and he's clearly very personable! Basically while he's a kid and can be annoying at times, he's a kid that Elliot likes. As much as he groaned about it, he liked looking after Gar and talking to him. He found the kid funny, and sweet in his own way. He's basically that spunky problem child in class. When you're a teacher, that kid will regularly give you a headache- but you can't help but be completely endeared and fond of them. It's the reason he actually put up with Gar calling him his bodyguard. It was just endearing enough to put up with.
That said he still finds it weird, because bodyguard is his petname for his boyfriend. ITS WEIRD TO HAVE A KID SAY IT.
gar is... not going to stop saying it unless elliot like straight up tells him and then he'll go and jump into a bathtub full of bleach to cleanse himself so... get ready for that...

I'll talk to Owlie. Maybe we can have Gar run into them together and Elliot be like HEY GAR I"D LIKE YOU TO MEET MY BOYFRIEND. And then it'll all go down from there.
