i think i joked in the group discord that the best part of dating leon was meeting xiaoloang and....
now, that's kind of true? it's not objectively true and a couple months ago, clover wouldn't have thought that, but the month in respatrum brought out clover's jealousy and envy. it twisted her emotions so much that she thinks this is true now, haha. i'm sorry because yikes but that means she does like xiaolang.
he's a good kid who tries to think first before acting, and that's remarkable. he's mature for his age (or he wants to be very mature for his age), and she can't knock him for it. she does think he tries a little too hard, though. she does think he should embrace his youth more because having a good childhood is important, but pursing things, being ambitious, wanting to be better— she's compelled to support that because she wants him to be the best person he can be. she doesn't want to patronize him, but she can't help but worry about him, too, because he is only 13, so he gets to suffer her being a nag. it's an unfortunate sign of her affection, and she will call him out if he puts on too many airs because she's a hypocrite, but she is fond of him. he's one of her favorite people in his age bracket.
however, she does know that being leon's ex makes this kind of awkward and doesn't know where that puts her in his eyes, so she tries not to butt in or hover as much as she could.
