The actual senpai in this relationship. They've only just met, but Minato feels like Nanashi is very easy to talk to, and out of a lot of his other relationships, his with Nanashi is one where there's a more equal amount of give and take. Usually, it's other people looking at Minato with concern and offering him their advice, but these few times with Nanashi where Minato was able to share his experiences was the first time in his life that he could act like a proper senpai to anybody. This meant a lot to him, because he spent the last 7-ish years living by himself and trying to become a passable adult all on his own, so this was sort of validation that he did okay and turned out just fine, that his choices weren't a mistake. This sense of responsibility over another person is something he's always been slightly wary of, but with his interactions with Nanashi, he's seeing that it's something that he can do, that he should have more confidence in himself and his abilities and experiences, and that it's perfectly fine to rely on others and have them rely a little on you. It's a very balanced relationship, so Minato has no worries about being a burden and that's the sort of positive momentum that he needs with people going forward, so he's really really glad to have gotten to know Nanashi.
