What an intense mailman... Professional and straight forward and no nonsense, and Minato likes that about him because there's no guesswork involved. He's reasonable, but also won't bend when Minato's being unreasonable, and is very direct with his advice— Minato's spent years blindly reaching for how to ask for help without bothering people, and Sakichi being "Just talk to them." just makes things sound so simple and obvious, and that's something that Minato probably needs- the idea that communication isn't as complicated or overwhelming as he believes it is. Minato has a lot of unnecessary thoughts about how things could or should be, but Sakichi's "I don't care." in regards to life being unfair was just so, so good. I laughed, and that's something Minato will carry with him too.

but I'm going to do Yato a little too just because-
Most of Minato's opinions were formed when Yato was drunk, but he likes to believe that people are more honest when their inhibitions are lowered rather than the other way around, and much of what Yato expressed were things that things that Minato found himself nodding along to. Religion isn't something he talks to other people about, but Minato does pray often and takes it as a comfort rather than rules or a way of life, so what he likes most about Yato is that he's not just a god by name, but he's the sort of god that interacts with people and gets to know them; for Minato's that's the basis of belief, having somebody there to listen if he needs somebody to talk to, even if it's just an offer or a promise that might never be acted upon. Maybe because their first interaction ended on a somewhat serious note, but Minato walked away with a high opinion of Yato; this might also be compounded by the fact that Yato didn't immediately shoot him down with the idea about exorcising him from Anya's body with salt, that he gave Minato actual consideration.
