The long version: SIT YOUR ASS DOWN, THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG ONE
So, she's known him since they were young although she didn't really know him all that well and only saw him every now and again. Obviously, Mio being... Mio, she pretty much had a crush on him at first sight because of fucking course she did. But she didn't exactly have any expectations and they were supposed to be "business partners" so by the time she grew old and somewhat jaded enough at around late elementary school before she left for Recolle she pretty much decided that it was just some childhood crush and that she had to Get Over It™ since those feelings were fleeting and dumb and she barely even knew him.
Flash forward a few years, when she moves from her small hometown in Japan to Recolle during junior high/middle school. She didn't have any feelings for anyone in particular - even though she was semi-aware of her feelings towards Leon, even though she was trying her best to find some other guy (or girl!) to hook herself with for her own somewhat nefarious means because at this point she didn't want to be the heir anymore. And yet she still did things that were suited for the heir.
Then she finally sees Leon again at some point and she sees that he's different from the shy boy that he was all those years ago. While she initially does show feelings for him - she thinks "OH NO, HE'S HOT" and she remembers how she felt back then - he's. Definitely changed. Of course, Mio herself hasn't changed, not really, even though she goes from being this polite, cute little girl who pretty much always wore a fancy kimono whenever he and his family came over to this teasing little shit.
And because of this personality of his he ends up displaying she's pretty much like "man, I need to fuck around with him" but she's also very much aware at this point that she can't go ahead and have Feelings for him because that doesn't go well with her plans of wanting to free herself so things get a little complicated in terms of her feelings. But the more she got to actually know him, the more that she had fun with him, the more her feelings grew.
She then decides to use her teasing to see if she's right about her feelings and well? Mistletoe hell kind of did but she keeps a good amount of distance from him because, again he doesn't fit her criteria of "being someone she can marry and have them take over the family" and just tries to act normal. It's fine though, because he's dense and naive!!
But she eventually makes the decision to sacrifice her dreams and wishes for love.
It's a dumb cliche, sure, but following her heart comes first and she can deal with the other stuff later. Now the big question is "why does Mio actually like Leon??" She's actually said it before, but he's an heir like her but in spite of that she doesn't have to act all proper, but she's allowed to act like herself -- even if she is, at this current moment in time, Unsure who she actually is -- not to mention that he's way too easy to tease in comparison to the others that she actually knows.
When they start dating, they get to know each other a little better and her feelings just increase and become something a little less superficial and more genuine. It shows when she's able to melt into his arms, when she's able to actually trust him and tell him pretty much everything, especially when it comes to things that she can't even tell even her actual family for Various Reasons. But she also feels kind of bad because he's spoiling her so much and just giving her pretty much everything that she's pretty much wanted all her life and she just. She wants to return the favor?? Let her care about him and do things for him and she wants to be the person who watches his back.
He's the person she trusts the most and loves the most.
But she's also Conflicted about her feelings of love because of the memories she's been getting and she wants to forget about Satoshi so that she can properly deal with their relationship over than her own drama and her own personal problems and she hates that it's getting in the way of that and how she ends up being so selfish when she's around Leon and she wants to fix that. Which is why she's going to make the attempt that now that they have a Break that she can actually do things for him and it's not like anything's gonna go to shit at a later date!! NOPE!!!!
So, Mio actually likes Daisuke (as someone who she could get close to as friends) but she doesn't really know him all too well! She does want to be friends with him and they were in the same group, not to mention that she's also aware that he's kinda sorta friends with her sister, too. She does want to know him a little more of course since she does need friends and she likes having friends?? Look, she's an heiress trying to find out her identity, just give her this.
If he ever called her Mio-nee, she would probably die.
So let's just get this out of the way-- Mio cares a lot about Xiaolang a lot. He's basically the younger brother figure that she didn't actually have. And it's because that she actually cares that she's able to act like herself around him instead of having to be this uptight polite heir that she's ~*supposed*~ to be.
Anyway, she knows just how easy it is to tease him and the fact that she teases him is because she is able to relax around him and be herself around him! And because it's so goddamn entertaining. But after realizing her feelings towards Leon (as... spoken above, I'm not repeating That) she's decided to be a little nicer; although she'll still tease him! To an extent.
But she's definitely wiling to help him out when it comes down to it and she's a little bit overprotective... which she shows by being purposely cagey and telling him that he can't help her with her problems even though she knows explicitly that he's not going to be happy about it. As she's actually said aloud, she doesn't see him as a child but rather she doesn't want to share her pain with him because she thinks that if she does, she'll be proverbially stabbing him in the gut in a way that she would rather avoid.
Also her overprotectiveness also shows as she doesn't curse in front of him and sometimes has to yell at Leon to be a better adult cousin, although that won't stop her from being gross.... but she'll try hard not to be Too Gross. There's a line that she has here.

She considers Kaede an acquaintance (a nice one, at least) that she wants to get to know a lot better! She does like her though, not to mention that she seems to have a good head on her shoulders and isn't... crazy, which a good thing, so points for her.
Mio thinks that Sakura is really cute and adorable but she also knows just how naive she is which is why she understands Xiaolang's struggle in more ways than one. She's also rather impressed by her magical prowess but the older sister in her shows her slight overprotective side because there's absolutely no way that she'd allow Sakura to get hurt, especially because Xiaolang likes her so much.
She...... is honestly kind of terrified of his past but yes, she thinks that he's an idiot for not being able to see through her somewhat obvious lie but while Shion did murder people and she's aware of that, Mio on the other hand cannot agree with any sort of dramatic violence so she's kind of unsure about him so she's just gonna stay wary of him for now.
