[ It's all rather...fantastical. And it's definitely not something Akira would have even considered giving the time of day if he hadn't been experiencing it first hand. And looking back on the times he'd been unaware of the affect Retrospec has on the city--or rather, the windows that Retrospec opens to the awareness of the city--Akira feels something akin to embarrassment. Or worse, a lack of control.

Unsurprisingly, Linden is already drawing similar conclusions. ]


I'm still trying to come to a concrete conclusion.

[ Which, of course, implies there are some theories around, but Akira hasn't subscribed to any one in particular. He can be quick to judge, but this is so far out of his realm of expertise that he has to gather more information.

And he kind of wants to believe it's bullshit because he saw himself die. That too. ]


It seems more like the app gives us access to what is happening rather than the cause, at least that's what seems most likely. What exactly is happening is based off first-hand experience and hearsay from the developers.
