AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? • Engineering Student going on his Sophomore year, currently suffering from schoolwork.
  
• A Mecha Nerd who has a YouTube channel, though it's currently not running due to said schoolwork.
  
• His parents are in LA; his dad's a sushi chef, his mom is a housewife. Practically had a normal childhood vs his military upbringing in canon.
  
• Has a sister he dotes on, can be pretty embarrassing, but if no one brings it up, he barely mentions her.
  
• Close friends with Souji Narukami, in fact he's living with Souji and Yu at the moment, at least before winter break.
  
• Was a Retrospec app person, but I dropped before the end of the year, so he's been NPCing in LA for the last few months, until school started again, in which case he'll be NPCing around.
  

LOOKING FOR: Professors that he can talk to for class purposes, or general mentoring. Some college friends he can hang out with and not be judged by for his interests is also fine too! There's also a family slot for an uncle or a sister, if you're interested. I can work with it.

Other than that, some rival nerds is definitely a plus. Someone he can compete with in model building or anime trivia, so they can just butt heads over a shared interest.

Oh man Gundam Seed. What nostalgia. I played Lacus briefly a couple times. But damn, Shinn. Let him have a good happy au life before Canon Happens. He deserves this.

If I didn't have a diff au for her, I'd offer Sakura for bring his little sister. Alas.

Oh damn, a lacus player!? color me surprised. There's not a lot of SEED roleplayers nowadays so I hope I can do him Justice (/rimshot).

It's alright! They can probably run into each other in Recolle, I'm sure we can work something out.

Heh, yeah that was years ago that I played her now. It's been. A while. But yes I was excited to see some Gundam around here!

I'd be down for something. Shinn is a good. Even if his regains might be. Er, kinda traumatic. :lb
