Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

He commends her fighting spirit, and at the very least, he charges her slightly less 'cause she's working so hard. And gasp, secret friend of their father asked to look after his kids when they come into the city???? Something I forgot to mention to Shinji-mun (laughs).

"Please look after my rich kids." "Sure. /shows up conveniently Hey there, high school kids. How is it hanging in the hood?"

Sakura and Shinji are cousins in this universe! We have a Rin, and she and Sakura are sisters from Japan.

... However I absolutely adore the angle of "Kirei knows Tohsaka Daddy somehow and was asked to keep an eye on his wayward daughters, how is it hanging girls." I would pay good money for this, let's make it happen.

OH! I was not aware! Hahah.

Very well. Tohsaka Daddy absolutely knows this Kirei. They were childhood friends when he was in Japan until he left in his mid-teens and stayed in touch, and in return, Tohsaka Daddy mentioned his kids were coming to Recolle so "hey, do him a solid and look after the kids but don't tell them that i asked k thnx."

Kirei: /randomly shows up when they're in trouble. I was doing... a ramen run 'cause i'm a ramen shop owner and don't know who you people are... (it's mapo tofu delivery to no one)... and it seems like you're in trouble....... i guess... how is it hanging girls.... .... mmmyup

Given the headcanons the Rin-player and I have come up with... Yeah that sounds like Tohsaka Daddy. If you wanted to work the religious angle, he and Kirei could've belonged to the same church as well. The girls are Christian, even if in a more passive way compared to their father.

ROFL now I'm imagining Sakura going to his shop the first time and Kirei being like "Man that was easy, didn't even have to look for her."

And yeah Sakura is a trouble magnet... y'know how it is with these Fate characters and their depressing backgrounds. She will thank the priest doing her a random solid.

(salutes!) Would it work to put it into the history -- something like, Tohsaka Daddy is Kirei's senpai and belonged to the same church as Kirei. During his youth of being a trash-fire, Tohsaka-Daddy was pretty cool about him and so if asked for a favor, Kirei's like, "yeah sure, I owe you a lot, my guy."

Kirei is very oddly happy that Sakura just shows up so he can be like, "Ah, how amazing... are you new to this city? I had no idea. NO IDEA. How about some free food... s-sighs.... /makes actual ramen.................. s i g h s..."

Totally random. Just a random buff-ass ramen shop owner here to help out from time to time. NBD, NBD.

YES that sounds excellent to me. You can assume Tohsaka Daddy probably gave Kirei a general description of his daughters and their personalities (so like, in this AU, Sakura was the child who was doted upon and gets more the attitude of "OH GOD PLEASE MAKE SURE SHE DOESN'T BREAK ANYTHING, SHE'S FRAGILE, GIVE HER ICE CREAM IF SHE STARTS CRYING.")

jaodihfoa ngl Sakura would try the mapo tofu if only to appease Kirei. Crashes and burns horribly. Kirei's black heart grows three sizes bigger that day having watched her fail.

Grows three sizes that day to where it's the size of a speck one can see. Truly a marvel!

And, hmm!! He thinks about how he's asked to dote on his senpai's daughter and agrees to it for a time, then thinks... "wouldn't it be better to help her become like steel rather than continue to keep her as glass?" And that's about where his thoughts are now with what to do about Sakura and if he should continue to do as his senpai asked in doting upon her like she is a delicate flower, or offering her some troubles to turn her into a force that can fight against the world. WHAT DO YOU THINK??

Yes please, this is the content I'm here for. That works with the overall story arc I want for her anyway, so if Kirei thinks he's helping, all the better.
