Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a
AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a
AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc.
BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. You can also use this section to ask for canonmates you would like to see in-game whether it be in your specific AU or for different CR.

i have a high desire for oda and atsushi to be friends

that aside, since oda's also an avid book worm...and a constant visitor of the library... maybe that's where they could have met? oda's parents also have a local curry restaurant so... i don't know.......if....maybe..... what if they're childhood friends from ever since atsushi moving to recolle...

ME TOO OMG.

Atsushi moved to recolle at 18 (my dumb ass forgot to put that in there...) BUT he’s totally a glutton and is VERY LIKELY to visit Oda’s curry shop.

They could meet at the library and become friends, then Oda mentions a curry shop, and Atsushi’s eyes light up...

And tbh both of them might remember Dazai eventually...

oda's already half way there...he already remembers dazai so when he realizes that atsushi knows him too he'll be like oh my god...

but that's so cute oh my gosh. atsushi and odasaku eating tons of curry while talking about new books that they've read??? though oda can't help but be shocked when he sees how much and how quickly atsushi is eating....he's worried that boy will choke.

Omg yes. And Atsushi like OMG IT’S SO DELICIOUS!!! Haha.

But yes, becoming friends over food and books sounds great!
