AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. BLURB: I'm doing this kn my phone sorry if there are weird typos or anything! Also, I have permission from the characters' players listed here.
- Korra has a fiance! It's Olivia Rose/Lightning.
- She's a physical therapist and very good at her job.
- Just recently moved to Recolle--her job required a lot of paperwork for a transfer.
- She has a half-sister, Edna.
- Korra works out a lot! Mostly weight lfiting and swimming, with a little bit of boxing thrown in too.
- She has a samoyed dog named Nimbus.
- Korra had a good childhood; her parents didn't spoil her but she did not really want for anything.
- She's pretty social. Likes to do stuff outdoors or go to movies.
- Moved around quite a bit when she was younger.
- Is a huge eater! Foodie to the extreme.
- She's fiery and has a temper, but she's loyal and caring. Heart of gold applies here. If Korra considers you a friend, you've got someone who's got your back.
LOOKING FOR:
Friends!! Right now she was childhood friends with Mako and was on the swim team with Dia in high school. I'm cool with friends Korra lost touch with or former patients she hit it off with.

Patients! Korra is a physical therapist, so like above, maybe they had a session or several together and hit it off and started hanging out.

Family! Korra has Edna as a half-sister but I'm here for anything else.

okay for real, yusuke is going to know edna from school related art things before he graduated so I guess there's a hance he knows OF Korra via edna, even if he's never met her. annnnd he knows mako so that's a thing that helps.

So, Tatsuo had his shoulder dislocated in September. Which definitely required physical therapy. :| He would... mostly have been a model patient. There might have been a few times he came in and had clearly been doing things a bit more strenuous than he should be doing.

She probably scolded him for sure...! I'm down for his having been a patient \o/ I imagine she'd have called a couple times to check up on him, too, after he finished!

Yay, Korra!

Okay so there is a *bunch* of CR possibilities here. First is that she and Mako dated a few years back, and they've stayed close. It's possible she could've met Korra or heard about her through Mako. Second is that Olivia is a family friend through Pen's parents. She's an army brat. And she's a common sight at the gym, and outdoors thanks to her girlfriend being a gym rat. She's trying to bulk up to be more like her other self, and loves hiking and going out shooting and stuff too.

Pen is a 22 year old who's about to graduate with her programming degree. she's a youtuber and a nerd mostly, but she's just super easygoing, loyal, sarcastic and stuff.

Ok there are a few potential CR possibilities here.

1. Derek works with Mako. He is a CSI at Recolle Crime labs
2. Derek works with and is childhood friends with Tatsuo who also works at the crime lab.
3. Derek is friends with Mako's girlfriend, Ann.
4. Derek was a theater kid on high school, so he likes his movies a lot, plus karaoke.

Let us try and make something work! :)

HEY so maybe gladio can know korra from frequenting the gym!! he might not do matches actively anymore but he still keeps up with boxing (he boxed for recolle u) and just generally keeping in shape

also she could judge him for living off cup noodle despite literally... working at a ramen restaurant... those pieces of corn are just solid yellow salt chunks and he lives for them

Jack's a hockey player and idk, he's still debating on what he wants to do once college rolls around and I was thinking an injury would do that so maybe FUTURE PATIENT but also Korra is gonna be friends with Eren who is Jack's childhood frand and is gonna teach him how to ice skate MAYBE THEY CAN MEET THROUGH EREN and y'know.
