AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! AU NAME: Mackenzie Waverly
AU AGE: 24
AU OCCUPATION: Student/Intern in probably a library or a chemistry lab
BLURB:Born in the coastal Mid Atlantic, Mackenzie moved to Recolle fairly recently to pursue his college education at Recolle U. He's getting ready to graduate with his degree in either Chemistry or Library Science by this point (I'm undecided on which, because the idea of him getting into forensic chemistry tickles me). He's from a middle-class family with roots in the UK and is attending school on scholarships due to his academic prowess.
Mystery novel nerd. He probably belongs to a book club and secretly blogs about the weirder things he finds during his internship. Also secretly likes video games-- specifically strategy-based or JRPGs, and makes LPs in his spare time.

WAAAVEEEEERRRRokay so when odasaku was studying english he basically LIVED in the public and university libraries tbh. he's fallen asleep there too. besides that he was also a part of that same book club to talk about all the bizarre (even somewhat disturbing) or depressing books that he likes to read.
if waver works in the library then he may also see odasaku staring at the ceiling for over an hour because writer's block hit him like a ton of bricks and he's searching for
