AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. -Dresses/presents very feminine most of the time and doesn't give much care for what people call him in terms of gender
-Energetic about stuff he's interested in and likes fashion a lot, though he's not really sure what to do with that.
-Acts like he doesn't care but actually a delicate flower emotionally
-Middling grades in secondary school but in uni anyway because that's what's expected of him.
-Actually good at horse chocobo riding, surprisingly
-Likes fantasy video games and tabletop games in his spare time, but is kind of flaky so finds it hard to keep a group

Hah, he's way cooler than his sister. Hello, this is Pen, one of Soleil's friends that has not fallen for her charms and teases her mercilessly. She is a YouTuber and about to graduate and might be willing to bring him into her tabletop circle from time to time.

Yes!!! He probably likes hanging out with his big sister's friends (especially if there's teasing involved) and depending on content might bug her to let him be in some videos now and then. Also pls let him play D&D with you, Pen

Most of what she does is arts and crafts, costuming and stuff but she does do a few games and pranky things sometimes. He could be her model since he's a shorty too.

And yes he can play. Orihime, her cousin and Soleil's roommate, is one gm though so prepare for weird.

He will 100% model cute cosplay outfits for her. In fact, he probably cosplays a LOT thinking about it

Akira kind of knows Soleil! and has branded her as a menace to all women. let them be university classmates. Akira plays videogames (with Futaba, a gremlin), too, so they can maybe play a bit before Astolfo ditches them.

Natalia's a little bit older than hum more his sister's age than her but I absolutely would love for them to know each other like sharing a class (some gen ed she let sit until now idk she's a junior) or meeting through some other means because that sounds really fun

Oh for sure! A gen ed class or a club would be perfect. Astin is very into nerdy stuff (anime and JRPGs especially) and loves cosplay bc he gets to do fashion things on top of being a nerd, so if she was in the anime club or something that would also work.

Honestly, I think most of her extracurriculars are tied up between various activism things and her job (at a local casino) but honestly, I can see her being into anime and using that as her one big blow off thing sounds Adorable so it's official, that is a place she goes to and they can know each other through that

hi! hinata is 3 years younger at 16 but i think they could maybe be friends...? dave strider is 18 and in his first year of uni so he might be a better pick? hinata works at the stables though so THERE IS THAT...

i think i can reasonably offer semira (semiramis) as friendly acquaintances to astin. they could know each other from being in the same rich circles. i’m thinking that they could have bonded over their love for fashion at some point in time.

alternatively, semiramis has been married to two rich guys that have strong ties to recolle. if you wouldn’t mind that, semiramis could be something of an aunt to him. now, i’m not a 100% sure if that idea works out in regards to the rest of his family, so we can always just go with the first idea!

Oh man having her be an aunt by marriage would be pretty cool, though we'd have to coordinate with sunnymerc to make sure she's cool with it.

I talked to them and they are 100% cool with it so having a cool aunt semira that astin can bond with over fashion would be rad. She could have been married to their uncle on their mom's side or something.
