Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

AU NAME: Emil Snow.
AU AGE: 12-15?? Not sure what's best yet!!
AU OCCUPATION: Student.
BLURB:

- A pure cinnamon roll too good for this world. He tries his best.

- First of all, a totally normal boy and not a skeleton. Yet. But eventually!!

- They told me I could be whatever I wanted when I grew up so I became a truck.

- Entered foster system with his twin sister, but was separated from her after several homes for easier placement. He doesn't know where she is now, but he misses her.

- Has been adopted officially twice, but neither was permanent, clearly.

- Education is spotty after moving around so much, possibly held back a grade. Stuff kinda blurs together.

- I feel like most kids are 13 or 14? Ish? Since his human form is 10, even if he's a premie 15 seems like a stretch. But should he be 14 and held back into class with 13yos or 13 and removed from their class after he knows some of them already... Decisions.

- Aspires to create a business that makes it easier for foster kids to keep the things they need between home transfers and to find help. A type of store, sort of.

He'll have about twenty million sad arcs tbh because Yoko Taro is Suffering and he's been around forever, but he's an optimistic boy that doesn't like to trouble others. In addition to skeleton and truck forms, he'll also have a time where he's still a boy, but his eyes can petrify people and he has to blindfold himself. Look forward to it.
He's the mage of the party, with healing spells included!

LOOKING FOR: Foster family and friends!! Whether he's been with the family a short while already or has just been placed with them, I'm ready to hash it out. People that will support him when he goes back to looking like a skeleton, and people that will freak out and make him feel bad when he looks like a skeleton. In a perfect world, a Halua/twin sis.

I VOTE MAKE HIM 13!! Because we need more middle-schoolers here, sobs

But if it's cool with you, Emil and Xiaolang could be classmates?? He's in a lot of advanced courses, but they could share an elective/club/more gen ed class together, perhaps? I'm not sure what hobbies you plan for Emil to have, but if he's into science/robotics it's possible they'd be in the same club?? Xiaolang just needs to know more optimistic kids his age that aren't Sakura, okay--

Also if you need someone to freak out over someone turning into a skeleton or just be dumb magic kids together HE IS YOUR BOY

ha ha, well!! He'll be in middle school either way, since he'll be held back a grade, BUT. Emil loves learning new things and would be absolutely fascinated by science (until he...learns that he was kinda a messed up science-magic experiment, then he'll have some mixed feelings) so he could definitely join robotics. His issues with learning have more to do with giant gaps in his education and trouble with retention. Other than robotics club though, music and more literature type stuff?

Also us, magic, good.

Maybe Xiaolang could help tutor him during school if he's having trouble? Like he already tutors Sakura outside of class with math and science (although that's....... mostly due to him having the biggest and most unaware crush of the century on her ~~but also he doesn't want Prompto doing it because he's a salty child~~), so I'm sure if a teacher pushed him to do it for-- idk, extra credit or bonus brownie points on his future college resume, he'd wind up doing it? Although HAHA, music and literature are the two subjects Xiaolang's awful at (at least according to canon), so while he wouldn't be in clubs for those sorts of things, maybe Emil can give him advice on that in return??

Still me, they can come to that conclusion that music is just math together and both start to do better

I'll be real, I buy it, but I don't understand how that music-math stuff works at all.

Maybe....??? they both have fractions and stuff, that works, right

I mean, idk, this stuff is a mystery to me too, which is kind of bad given I'm playing a character who's...... really good at math........... cries

Edna will eventually be going through a change to an invisible spirit-like creature so she'll absolutely be here to support kids going through similar troubles. She'll big sister at him.

Also he can turn people to stone... she throws stones at people... SEEMS FITTING.

stone sis...weeps, he will gratefully accept any and all support from her and probably get very attached very quickly
