AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. For those who don't know Eikichi from the original canon since Persona 2 is pretty old-school his character page.

AU Style now:
♏ He's a Youtube Star! He makes pretty good money with some harmless pranks with family - think something like just for laugh gags. They've been meme'd frequently.
♏ He also has his own channel where he does let's plays (badly but he's entertaining), some musical singing (he's okay, but charming), some art (it's not bad!) and fashion advice (he's pretty good but his fashion choices are questionable).
♏ He's mostly known as someone who is harmless but entertaining, and made fun of by other more 'hardcore' Youtube stars sometimes. You know. Drama.
♏ His family is from Canada (Japanese-Canadian), but they moved to Recolle about a year ago all together for opportunities
♏ He's actually pretty bad in school because of all his work and may need some help. He's mostly doing it because his parents want him to get an education.
♏ Sometimes he has trouble separating his Youtube personality from his private life.
♏ He takes his camera everywhere
♏ People send him terrible games to play to see him react
♏ He is a scream king when playing horror games
♏ He actually doesn't have many friends outside of Youtube life that like him for who he is, and is a bit lonely and judgmental of people who want to be his friend.

LOOKING FOR: A fellow Youtube Star who would play video games with him for his video game segments, family members, fellow students who could help him with his studies, people who watch his show and are a fan of him.

I'm glad some people know who he is!

And hey Eikichi is an LPer but a bad one. He's popular because of his commentaries and 'legendary failures' so having someone who is a bit more competent could be great! I wouldn't be against a sort of Youtube force at this point.

As for school, I'm still not sure where I'll be sending him since both would break his mind once he regains some memories in the far future.

Redžo is a fashion designer and was on a Project Runway knockoff a few years ago... maybe he could leave long critiques in the comments on his fashion advice videos lmao. He is also the subject of this world's version of the blood orange meme, so. There's that.

Oh god yes please. I wouldn't mind them getting into heated debates, I assume he does live feeds as well and he probably gets a bit on Eikichi's nerves (or a lot) but he's a popular guy so ignoring him outright would be wrong?

Don't worry about it, I honestly didn't expect many people to know much less play P2 it's very old and dated.

Maybe he can be a friend he brings to feeds sometimes so they can play together? Slowly building his Youtube cred. Eikichi would be happy for legit friends who are friends first and not Youtube stars.

Things I can offer: Penelope here hurr hurr I was clever with her AU name) is an older YouTuber at 22. She does a lot of collaboration with others, and could have worked with him on videos. Her channel is mostly crafts and costumes and games, with a few elaborate pranks.

Also he'll eventually get to deal with Yukiko and her Persona so that's a thing.

Yes! I can see their combined videos being pretty popular, and I know Eikichi would be up to getting a costume from her for conventions and showing Youtube how it's done from start to finish (he can provide makeup tips! She can make him a suit that covers it .. wait).

I want Persona CR but Minato doesn't really watch a lot of youtube; he's friends with Pen and watches her LPs so he could have gotten to know Eikichi from there! And would def be the one to rec horror games for him to play, while Minato's learned to mute the channel whenever Eikichi's playing/screaming haha

Felicia does pay some attention to youtubers when she's doing her reps in the gym-- she is friends with Pen after all-- and she's likely the sort who randomly squees and adds lots of hearts to her comments.

Otherwise, I'd love CR somehow. Felicia's a gym bunny, but I'm sure we can find an excuse for them to meet.

I was thinking Eikichi does this super dumb harmless signature at the end of all his videos where he does a heart with his hands so he'd probably get along with her a lot and her comment writing.

Would she attend conventions? I don't think Eikichi's gonna bother going to the gym (private gym teacher if he has one)

Both of my characters are fellow college students - Byakuya a junior and Kurt Wagner a sophomore! Byakuya could possibly try to help lead him in studying, and Kurt (who is a former tv star himself) could possibly be a fan of his show!

Maybe not so much a fan but someone he might collaborate with sometimes for any fashion-based videos? I could see him being the type who could help bring out more of her experimental side, and she can try to rein him in if he gets too weird.
