AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? YEAH...YEAH BABY BRO IS A MENACE so that's definitely a good gap and she's inclined to be friendly with anyone Hinata's friendly with. But classes I think she's mostly focused on some more creative classes and classes that don't involve a lot of times she has to actively be the center of attention (i.e. she wouldn't be in like Drama or Speech & Debate for instance.) I feel like she's at least taking mostly the basics along with maybe a foreign language to challenge herself and maybe an art class like intro to painting or something lowkey. Even if not classmates she and Mio would be bound to cross paths.

Well, Mio's taking Chinese classes - Mandarin, specifically, so if she'd be taking that, I'm down for classmates. But I'm also down for just having her poke Rise in general since Mio is outgoing and tends to bother people during lunch period if they're being awkward or alone and she just likes bothering people, tbh.

Hilariously my thought was French because language of love and lovers arcana (haha I think I'm funny and I'm not, trust me) but Mandarin would also be a really interesting challenge for her. LET ME GET BACK TO YOU ON THAT SPECIFICALLY but absolutely down for them being friends in general and Mio being in Rise's space. She would have grown used to it after a point and start considering Mio a friend anyway.

Thanks Mio, you're a pal. To be fair it would be both endearing and mildly exasperating and I think that's the perfect combination so I'm definitely all for it.
