AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. You can also use this section to ask for canonmates you would like to see in-game whether it be in your specific AU or for different CR. |

CHARACTER: Ares
CANON: Vagrant Soldier Ares
AU NAME: Sebastian (I don't have a last name yet), goes by Ace because he thinks it sounds much cooler.
AU AGE: 18
AU OCCUPATION: he's on a dance crew, otherwise local punk teen without a job
BLURB: He's an only child who's been a latchkey kid basically his whole life since both parents work a lot, so he's spent a lot of time just running around on his own instead of sitting inside... it's a minor miracle he got out of high school but honestly his teachers were probably sick of him. He was forced to do dance lessons as a kid and found he actually liked it, so he's stuck with it ever since and it's been his primary outlet-- he's part of a competitive dance crew with his bff and gets really into it. He's super competitive. If you beat him he's going to want to show you up so bad the next time.
Most of his time goes into training and he doesn't want to bother with a job, so he doesn't... he's just here to have a good time? He's not about to be tied down if he doesn't have to be, tbh.
he's a fighter in canon but he's not especially skilled here! he's probably gotten in some fights but he's never been taught how to do it properly and his fighting style is 'kick them in the balls and get out of there'.
LOOKING FOR:
-FRIENDS who can put up with him wanting to run off and do stupid shit
-PEERS who are also dancers and are maybe even rivals of his?? he'll probably still be friends but that all gets set aside when it's time to compete.
-FAMILY MAYBE, he has no set last name yet so while he wouldn't have siblings, he can definitely have like, cousins or something!
-he should probably be shoved into getting a job at some point, smh.
-also people from war canons for future regain jams because canon ares sure is a lifelong swordsman who's already lost an eye and shit by the time he's a teenager, he goes through multiple wars in canon, he will probably need people who understand that life.

amanda does go to classes pretty consistently, so yeah i think it'd make sense if they were familiar with each other that way. she's been going a couple years... so either classes or school or both works for me!

phos here would be an Excellent friend, because they're a born slacker; at least, until they get their shit together. but, canon-wise, they do learn how to fight and has lost like 6 different body parts in their quest to find out more about why the world they live in is so fucked up. SO. YOU KNOW....
