AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! BLURB:

Makoto gets the "happy" AU. Her parents are both alive, her sister is a very successful prosecutor, and she gets to study abroad for a year in Recolle, while she works on her Anthropology degree.

Makoto is:
- Fluent in English, due to attending an international school her whole life
- Still somewhat of a standoffish busybody, let her be quietly nosy in your direction!
- A huge fan of penpals! So if you want someone to have written to you while she was in Japan, she could have been the one!
- Currently rooming with Orihime and Soleil!
- Definitely going to get active in the student government at Recolle U. Yep, that's happening.

I am looking for penpals! Study buddies! Anyone who might have known her in Japan? She grew up in Tokyo, in Shibuya (lol). I'm also open to flexing her AU to accommodate new people into it if you REALLY want CR with the Perfect Girl (tm).

Also, Lillian is a poly-sci major and there's the classic 'butting heads' thing between that field and anthropology, they could end up/be friends who get into long winded debates between their subjects.

Atsushi here grew up in Japan before moving Recolle. Maybe they bump into each other on campus and find out that they have a shared background in that regard!

I have Leon who is a foreign exchange student from Hong Kong that also studies at the university. He's also a studious busybody so study buddies? Maybe they could have also been pen pals in the past as well? He's always looking for ways to improve on his Japanese.

i just realised yusuke has zero memory regains of the badass lady with a bike persona so come at me and makw my deeams come true. I doubt that yusuke did the penpal thing when he was younger buuut.... hm. His mum was pretty well known as an artist before his family came to recolle and her health got worse (not... famous but her stuff was easy enough to find and well liked) so maybe the surname would ring a bell?

i'm super late to this, due to being on hiatus, so feel free to ignore me BUT

keigo here was also a transfer student from japan (currently in university himself), so if you need more former highschool classmates, i'd be down! it doesn't have to be anything super substantial, if that doesn't work for you, but i'm really open to anything. like the sky's the limit, tbh. anything from just someone whose name he might recognize (like a star pupil that everyone knows type deal, if that jives) to a friendly acquaintance, to an ex-girlfriend (laughs hollowly) or even just a regular old school-friend. keigo's own AU history denotes that he had issues making lasting friendships, so really the only caveat would be that if you are at all interested in making them friends, it likely was a surface/superficial friendship, in that keigo's fairly private. he'd likely be nothing but pleasant and sociable to her, when applicable, just nothing like sharing secrets, if that... makes sense... ANYWAY the point being that i'm wide open for interpretation; whatever would be most interesting for you is what i'm goin for. /o/
