AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! hitoka yachi || haikyuu!!
CHARACTER: Hitoka Yachi
CANON: Haikyuu!!
AU NAME: same, although I'm open to changing her last name to fit potential family
AU AGE: 15-16
AU OCCUPATION: high school student
BLURB:
- family stuff, idk; the default would be living with her single mother as in canon, but my favorite thing about AUs is being able to play out family dynamics and I would really love an older sibling for Yachi?
- extremely skittish about absolutely everything and at a drop of a hat can think up 10+ ways any given object/action/situation can kill you
- internal screaming all the time, i'm sorry about her meta bracket tags
- but!!! she gets used to things quickly, so. she's fine. she's very cheerful and supportive otherwise, after she warms up to things/people!
- lives in one of those fancy expensive beach houses right up against the sand (or wishes she does, if this can't fit in w/ family history); watching beach volleyball is basically her only exposure to the sport
- maybe she knows how to surf, idk
- more likely, she likes the beach to collect shells and make little shell necklaces and other sorts of jewelry
- likes sewing and makes her own dresses; there are always little stars or flowers on her clothes
- a good student at school but shy and quiet and likes keeping her head down
- can be caught staring at girls a lot but look, there are girls who wear super cute clothes and this is how she gets fashion ideas. let her live
- some sort of part time work maybe, like decorating pastries at a bakery if any PC owners are hiring for that, and/or selling handmade jewelry or clothes at the farmer's market when the weather is nice out
LOOKING FOR:
- my soul for an older sibling... barring that, an older sibling figure she can latch onto bc otherwise she's going to lose her mind freaking out about everything
- aforementioned workplace with some artsy position that isn't just working a register
- ??? honestly i don't intend to get in too deep with cr starting out bc, see below, her activity levels aren't going to be as high as my other characters
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I'm set on Yachi! but also full disclosure that she would be my third character (after Minato/P3 and Mafuyu/Oresama Teacher) and she's a minor character from a sports manga, so I'm mostly here to play simple and cute things since my other two can't seem to manage that :'')

But yes, I would love this! Her growing up in a large family would be like growing up with the support of her club members instead of it just being herself and her mom in canon :3c Has it been set in stone that Nazuna's the oldest of seven total kids in the family/what details can I make up about their family since she's still young enough to live at home with their parents and siblings and everything that won't need to be retconned?

He's indeed the oldest of seven! He's 21 turning 22 so there's a fairly decent gap for wherever you want to place her in the family ;w; the only other detail I think I had was that the family was fairly poor for a while until he got discovered and poured all of his disney channel dollars into the family \o/ i wanted to keep it as open as possible in case anyone wanted to come along...........

I do want to have her taking care of younger children but also not one of the oldest so a middle child somewhere...! She tries her best and is a hard worker so Nazuna doesn't have to shoulder all of this by himself, ahhhhhhh

cute though she makes such a cute middle child. nazuna loves her so much he will dote on her like crazy!!! and call home all the time and make sure she's ok and just DOTES ON FOREVER

i'm on the wrong account but chiyo and yachi could be super cute friends. chiyo actually lives near the beach, so they could run in to each other that way or at school
chiyo would also support all of yachi's artsy endeavors
