AU WORKSHOP - JUNE Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Kurogane | Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
CHARACTER: Kurogane
CANON: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
AU NAME: Kurogane Suwa
AU AGE: late 20s
AU OCCUPATION: dog trainer
BLURB:
- a Japanese young man from an old, noble Japanese family living in the countryside;
- when Kurogane was 12, his mother, a Shinto priestess, passed away of illness shortly after his father had died in an accident in the countryside;
- he has an older sister and a younger sister, and he's especially close to the latter. Although both his sisters remained in the countryside, following their family's tradition, they both pushed Kurogane to find a new life in the city, claiming it would help him grow as a person;
- he's arrived to Recolle just a couple months ago;
- he loves staying in the open air and does a lot of physical training, gym, running, etc;
- he owns a samoyed dog called Manju;
- at first, he can come off as a gruff, aloof, grumpy person. He might even be scary, tall as he is, all dressed in black (which he often is). But he's a patient, loyal person when you get past the first layers of grumpiness, and a very determined one when it comes to helping the ones he loves;
- he loves drinking and has an excellent resistance to alcohol;
- also loves reading comics.
LOOKING FOR: a few friends (he's not the kind of person to have more than a few close friends), flatmate(s), clients, a place that can hire him, gym/training buddies, drinking buddies, people he meets when he walks his dog.

If things all go according to plan, Fai's going to be laying low at the beginning of next month and like... wearing dark sunglasses everywhere in an attempt to not be recognized. So idk if we want to play around with Fai trying to be sneaky or something? Or hell maybe Manju jumps on him during a walk or something idk I'm up for anything of course!!

Not sure how we could make too much of a connection here but Lutha's equally grumpy with far less patience, so I'm sure he could learn a thing or two from Kurogane. Lutha likes to play his harmonica later in the afternoons/evenings out on the streets to earn some fast cash, if they could meet via doggo walking.

Kurogane isn't exactly a body builder type. He's big and strong and needs something to basically let out all his strength and keep in shape.

lmao just kidding but!!! Kaiba is currently dating Fai in game although uh. Eventually Kaiba's going to end up with Atem probably and then Kirk with Fai but I like the idea... of them being semi friendly with each other eventually because well.
A lot of things need to happen in between now and then but! I'm totally down for CR of a sort tbh

I mean canonically speaking Kurogane is more likely to slice himself up for Fai so..Ah yes!! I'm looking forward to all that is going to happen, there is room for a lot of CR development! I agree on this sort of eventual development too :D

Pitou is very involved with animal rescue, I would see them bringing doggos to Kurogane work with so they chances of adoption get improved!!!!!!!

I see Pitou is a martial artist!! Kurogane's a ninja in his canon, and he might take an interest in martial arts even AU-wise. So maybe this can be a thing that happens too!

BUT YES, Pitou loves fighting so they would absolutely have no problem encouraging that.

(Besides, Kurogane's little sister might be more or less Pitou's age rn, so he might end up seeing Pitou as a younger sibling if they bond)
