AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. AU NAME: chigira ruiji
AU AGE: 19
AU OCCUPATION: high school drop out

BLURB: SO IN CANON ruiji is a high school softie who was born with the "face of a demon" and thus despite all his attempts to be a Good Person and Get Along With People, he has always been shunned and treated like a thug when all he wants is a Love and Friendship like the Shoujos™!! for this au, he is:

• son to a member of a local and fairly notorious street gang (father has been part of the gang since he was a kid; mother left them both when ruiji was ten)
• having been raised in that environment, ruiji hasn't known any other kind of life
• so he's very much the thug he looks to be; he's confontational, aggressive, very violent, probably has NATURALLY RIPPED JEANS wow edgy don't mess with him
• but there is also a softer side to him that he hasn't really had a chance to discover or nurture; he finds himself drawn to art and music (though he's terrible at both)
• he doesn't watch sad movies bc he will, without fail, CRY... HE DOESN'T KNOW WHY!!
• he's got quite the criminal record already, but many are just petty and minor things
• since the gang and the gang life is all he's known, he is FIERCELY LOYAL TO THEM and considers them all his family (whether or not they reciprocate would depend if there's already a pre-existing gang i can situate him into)
• however as he's getting older he's finding himself growing curious about life outside of the gang
• and thus hitting a sort of... anti-rebellious phase... in that now he wants to go home early and watch movies that are appropriately rated and go back to school and help grandmas! walk across the street!!
• idk stuff

LOOKING FOR:

• is there a pre-existing gang that ruiji can be a part of? if not who wants to create a gang...
• fellow gang members?!
• people who know him from school, both fellow students and past teachers
• childhood friends?!
• any artists or musical people he could not-so-subtly stalk...
• bleeding hearts who want to Show Ruiji the Light
• little shoulder devils who want to Keep Ruiji in the Dark
• other stuff!
