AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. CANON: Zero Escape series
BLURB:
⚜ Akane is a 22 year old, conspiracy theorist blogger and university student majoring in medical science engineering.
⚜ She was born to a family of four -- a mother, father, and older brother.
⚜ When she was very young, she lost her father as he was sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit which in turn had her mother commit suicide a few year later, leaving her older brother and her orphans.
⚜ They lived together in an orphanage until her older brother was old enough to care for both Akane and himself.
⚜ Akane went to public school throughout the years she was living at the orphanage.
⚜ She is the type of girl that even thought she was kind, rarely had any friends due to acting older and wiser than most her age.
⚜ Akane became greatly interested in philosophy at a very young age, and it is due to her thirst in wanting to learn as much as she can that she found herself interested in the idea of conspiracy theories.
⚜ When she began high school and was living with her brother, as her official guardian, Akane began to create her conspiracy theory blog, which greatly grew as one of the official places to visit.
⚜ She moved to Recollé with the intention of investigating Retrospec after hearing about its ~~~mysterious~~~ appearance from a fan working at the local university.
⚜ Akane is very fond of horror and science fiction movies, fairy tales, and LARPing.
⚜ Akane's conspiracy theorist handle is known as "June" while her LARPing GM handle is "Zero".
LOOKING FOR: Friends, other conspiracy theory buds that know and keep her identity safe, university classmates, LARPing buds, and whatever else you can think of.

anyway, souji's a high school student but he's definitely weird enough that he'd go along with them and theorize as well. like, he wouldn't truly believe in them, but find them more entertaining and fun to think about, laughs. since she had her blog around for such a long time and souji didn't really have any friends to occupy his time before recolle, he could possibly be a semi-regular commenter/reader on her blog? the kind to leave comments like how her latest post was a really interesting read and possibly adding his points to it. how ridiculous or far-fetched those points may be would depend on the subject matter too, laughs

I love that idea, no lie. I'm slowly typing up her application as we speak and may have changed some of my ideas on this post, but she will remain as a conspiracy theorist and having a blog as I cannot unsee it now. I am definitely up in having her know Souji as one of her regulars. At the moment, I have this idea that Akane's conspiracy theorist name can be Zero, but one of their assistants is known as "June" who is in charge of moderating and commenting on his behalf and/or collecting information too. It'd be cool if they somehow knew each other without realizing it.
Would Souji attend the Recollé Resource Center to get tutored or be a tutor, or hang out at the library? I'm thinking of having her volunteer as a tutor or student librarian. Maybe even have her volunteer at the animal shelter as well. There's a lot I want to do with her, no lie.
