CHARACTER: (Frederica) Bernkastel
CANON: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
BLURB:
• 21-ish, college student working towards a degree in mathematics (statistics or probability but I haven't 100% decided)
• in her free time, she's a theater actress! she used to be a stagehand but started auditioning for parts out of the blue. hangs out at the local theater a lot.
• actually a Decent Human Being(tm) in this AU. She's dry and sarcastic, a little cynical, and likes poking people's buttons too much, but that's as bad as she gets ~~for now~~

• her parents died when she was young, so when she was around 9 she moved to Recolle to live with her aunt. she's lived here ever since. she claims that she's moved on and healed, but she's absolutely still dealing with the grief, which has contributed to her being bitter about ~happy families~
• she had no siblings, but I'm absolutely up for cousins or other such family members! Her father was German, hence the surname Bernkastel, but I'm flexible on her mother.
• absolutely a crazy cat lady. She doesn't talk about it but if anyone's ever been to her apartment they will be bum-rushed by her legion of cats, half of them hers and half of them fosters from the animal shelter. Send help.

LOOKING FOR: FELLOW ACTORS/ACTRESSES, patrons of the theater, classmates, neighbors, friends, people who want to ban her from ever setting foot in the animal shelter ever again because lady, u have a problem, just about anything!
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Fairly certain on her, I'm just debating whether to app this month or next month.

Kariya almost certainly visits local theaters for both work-related photography and recreation, since he likes to support people's creative endeavors, so. It's very possible they would be familiar with one another!

~~Also Kariya's family is still a shitshow in his AU life, just without magic torture worms, so that could be... a fun point of connection...~~

Sounds good! Her filmography is short, but recently she's had a major role, I'd say.

holy shit a bern. umineko is my favourite series ever. idk how to exactly get cr with her but. i need to have jake go hang out at the theater sometimes. he'd just encourage her cat habit though. animals are good and need love.

That said, she's around the university, too, so they could always have a class together!

I'm planning on bringing in Lambdadelta, too, just not the first month.

The only reason Alice here isn't a cat lady is because she can't afford the pet deposit in her apartment...

...also I'm really glad I couldn't think of a feasible way to reincarnate Beatrice that made any kind of sense.

Animal shelter volunteer here, happy to have Gwendal side-eye a little and sternly interrogate her to make sure all those cats are getting the ~~love~~ attention they need.

Once he confirms that in fact the cats are not being neglected, they will be totally cool, of course.

She's often bouncing between school and the theater, so she doesn't spend as much time with them as she'd like, but yes she loves her furry legion to death, no worries sir.........

i am Here for crazy cat lady and theater cr... Kashuu isn't involved much in the acting part himself, but he handles costume design, so they could have probably run into each other through that!

She's not much into her personal fashion but she'd go along with whatever stuff Kashuu would pick out for her ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ also probably loves his dumb cat lattes but too tsun to say it outloud.

Lambdadelta is a fellow actress and close friend. Maybe a little closer than that.

Arlene's actual acting is pretty much all with the university's drama department right now but there might be something there?
