Souji Seta / Persona 4

CHARACTER: Souji Seta (Protagonist)
CANON: Persona 4
BLURB:

• Souji has an identical twin brother, Yu Narukami
• Comes from an influential family, with parents dealing with politics. The parents got divorced, however, when the twins were seven and Souji left with their mother. From there, he moved around a lot as a kid, before relocating to Recolle
• Despite being a loner as a kid and after the divorce, he's a pretty friendly person and really easy to get along with. However, he kind of stays distant and doesn't talk a lot about himself
• Has a really bad habit of not asking for help and tries to pretend that he's okay when he's not. So, that leads to him faking a smile and saying that it's fine
• He's more expressive than his twin, so he doesn't lineface as often, but he doesn't go overboard either. He's just more likely to smile outright or laugh
• He's Bad Jokes Protag. He's this guy. Yeah...
• He's a major cat lover. He's probably going to hoard like 1737291 cats and no one can stop him. Don't visit him unless you want cat fur on everything you love and hold dear in your life
• He's a pretty good cook and he enjoys it so go bother him for some free food or something.
• Magic tricks are his thing. He did a lot of it as a kid after the divorce as something to keep him occupied but stopped doing it as he got older. He still remembers some tricks so he'd probably do something basic now and then. He's just great with his hands
• He has a bad habit of eating things that he really shouldn't eat....... expired milk, a bunch of wasabi, a science project... He does it to raise his courage and for sweet, sweet curiosity
• Will probably be around 17~18!

EXTRA NOTES:

Souji is based off the manga's adaptation of P4! In this AU, he'd still be very much the same as his canon counterpart and he shares a similar backstory (with the moving and all that), but he just has a twin in this AU, laughs. His canon point is after the true ending of P4, but because he's in Recolle, he's pretty much pre-character development. He's still a really nice guy and does 18319 social links, but he will keep everyone at an arm's length. Of course, this will change within the game as he learns about FRIENDSHIP and BONDS and all that, but for now, he probably would just go with the flow on things and not heavily get involved with others until he gets dragged into it.

LOOKING FOR:

ANYTHING IS FINE, REALLY. I'm open to a lot of things! However, unfortunately, Souji was a loner after the divorce and before arriving in Recolle, so he wouldn't really have any friends from that period (which is a decade). He also moved a lot and preferred to keep everyone at an arm's length (be friendly but never connect) because he knew he would always be moving and never make any meaningful ties, so it was hard to be his pal then, laughs. However, I am definitely down and open for people who knew Souji and were friendly acquaintances with him during that time! There's also pre-divorce when he was a lot more happier and had pals! Come talk cats with him.

HAHA she did actually and I think it's really funny and a lot of people seem to be interested in giving their characters cats so this is perfect. Please be the twins that walk cats by his bar every day so he can be like "why are you guys doing this."

Regardless I am excited to see your take on Souji!! The backstory you guys have crafted sounds pretty neat.

i would definitely love to get some cr with keith! i bingewatched all of voltron in a day so i am definitely down, haha. the two could cook something that wouldn't be so terrible as green space slime? (or maybe they do and it's a Disaster)

keith should clearly get a tabby cat that doesn't really listen or behave at first like the red lion

they're experimenting or trying new recipes and things just go...bad.

my friend who's considering shiro says keith should get a semi wild cat(the name escapes me suddenly) that's ornery and only really loves keith and hates everyone else haha

i did contact the mods and they said it is allowed! as long as the two are from different canon endings and have some differences!

i just wanna give you a head's up that a friend of mine is also interested in playing twins with me so aaa, sorry, i probably should have mentioned that in the top level but if all things fail, i would definitely love to play twins with you!

I mean the obvious answer is classmates building into something more friendly as the game progresses. You know, he shows up and she's been around a while and new classmates, so you do the neighborly thing and get to know the new guy...then the next thing you know you're rolling around town solving mysteries in a van.

Or, you know, something like that.

you know what, maybe we really should have the p4 gang form some mystery-solving club, like those detective clubs that charge you a small fee so they help you find your lost cat or find out if a-chan has a crush on b-kun

they can eventually get a tie dye van later so they can be havocs on the road

Life goals: Van. Great Dane. And Yukiko's family is rich so the van is possible. I'm honestly debating whether or not she has a car to start with since of age in the USA.

No, really I think that a mystery club could be an interesting way for teenagers to get involved since a lot of what I'm seeing are adults so far. A prove your worth in a group sort of thing.

That said, I'm excited! Pip's explained a lot and I think I'm gonna go for it. The setting works better for me than CC's did (sorry I flaked on you there)

this is going to be an odd start but hI I'M DANA i've been plotting with pip but also I wanted to get to know you too because! I love this AU idea! and you seem pretty rad so I'm excited to meet you!

but i'm dying, Souji will be a few years older than Anya - she's about 15 - but he can be the cool senpai.... especially with his magic tricks because she's pretty easily delighted and impressed

and hopefully they will be able to develop into better friends after they talk about cats. repeatedly.

LAUGHS getting souji's attention while his focus is on the cats is hard but maybe one of his cats could claw itself to minato's pant leg which will be like ah oops?

RUDE he's only slightly less dense than a black hole.

And yes, Minato likes animals but he's too out of it to really interact with them when people are around to see him, until one cat decides to grab his attention like that. He tries to pretend he's aloof and above talking to cats, but there's just too many of them to resist!
