BLURB:
-grew up in a big family, older brother of Keith. originally from Japan, most likely a multiracial household with lots of foster/adopted kids
-enlisted in the military as soon as he was old enough, lost his arm only a few months into the service and honorably discharged.
-finally decided to not let his injury hold him back and instead moved to Recolle to open a fusion Japanese/American bakery/sweet shop. Adopted a pit bull and has trained him into a sort of service dog to help with his PTSD.
-does not like cars. Will walk/jog everywhere.
-opening of the game may be grand opening of Shiro's sweets shop.
-bilingual (English/Japanese)
-very fascinated with American culture, loves learning and exercise.
-courteous and polite, is often the referee in sibling arguments so is good at talking down arguments. Pretty charismatic, knows how to make people feel good
-Is genuinely interested in helping others. would like him to be part of some kind of local charity or possibly an animal shelter

Also the jogging buddy is a possibility! If they know each other before the shop opens, he'll definitely help you get the word out. :)

omg so Honoka's parents also own a sweet shop (tho theirs is mostly traditional/wagashi stuff) so like. i really love the idea of them knowing each other and being buddies through SWEETS

... honoka will also probably eat him out of stock on a daily basis anyway tbh SHE LOVES HER SWEETS and all the stuff at home has anko in it... B

but yeah I have no solid ideas except that seeing more people around that have a similar injury to hers will be interesting. seeing what his take is on having something to work with versus just toughing it out without it like she is, jogging buddies, indulging her sweet tooth (though really she's more or less buying stuff for her already hyperactive sister...)

Man. I never thought about the bilingual nature we could work with here-- but he could be a bakery patron! Especially since his little brother loves that sort of stuff.

jade's going to have some cr with keith so perhaps there could be a mutual connection there but DOG? BAKERY?? jade wants to pet the puppy?

i'm also toying with her getting involved in an animal shelter of some sort, if we're allowed one, so they could have met through that, too!

I could offer another bakery patron! Robin would probably stop by pretty dang regularly once it opens, to pick up things for herself and for other people.

will practically live in the sweet shop and will chat happily with him in Japanese. he volunteers at an animal shelter, so if Shiro ends up doing that they could also occasionally work together?
